So not exactly around next seasons kit but, my parents did the tour today and mentioned Nike taking over once Under Armour go. One of the tour guides mentioned that Under Armour reps were at the club yesterday because they don't want to lose us. Pinch of salt etc etc but thought worth mentioning
All the news about Nike having a deal done sounds to me like a negotiating ploy to convince UA to put in a huge amount of money with us.

I don't really care, Nike or UA, really depends on who has a better offer. i have never really been particularly blown away by any of the UA shirts, but Nike are also very hit and miss across the board.

I like that UA make unique shirts for us and that this season's in particular have actually been designed (they are tied together by the stripes idea). Nike just come up with a template for a season, and all their sides get that.

I'll take a clean and simple template over this bollocks every day.

Whatever happens, these things are designed by people who are more concerned with the 'fashion' side of it. They are not people who know or care about the history/traditions of football in general or any particular club. Personally, I think I'll order the early 1960s change top (with number 4 on it) from TOFFS. It looks the b0ll0cks on their website.

Someone who's a designer once mentioned on COYS that the client usually gives the designer some ideas about what they're looking for, and the designer then provides a few different options to the client to choose from. It's not as if UA design a shirt and Spurs are bound to wear it, no matter what.

We had three great kits that season.

I have the blue away one from that season. Love it and it's still in great nick considering I wear it twice a week.

Would really like to stick with UA as I've liked most of their kits and the quality and durability has been great

Was that the dark blue or the light blue? That was the weird thing about that year's kits.

How often was the 3rd shirt worn in the league this season? Can only think of Sunderland away.

Purple shirt looks class this season. Having said that, the fit seemed to be really weird. Very long, almost like a dress and just generally doesn't feel right.

My Mrs bought me the purple top this year, I love it. Not so sure about her right enough
