Cheers man. Im guessing the legality is a bit sketchy? I dont really care as i stream the shit out of everything anyway.

You don't even need to buy a box, you can install Kodi on your computer and then install a build, all for free.

Bit time consuming if you don't know what you're doing though.

Yeah I guess I should've told him that .

Indeed, laptop, PC, phone, tablet, smart TV. You can download Kodi onto any of them & get access to exactly the same content as you can on the box. I only bought the box so I can have it constantly connected to the TV, rather than connecting one of the above devices to the TV each time I want to watch a game or a movie etc.

Nah there's nothing sketchy about it mate. It's just a smart box with apps on it, no different to what people have on their phones & tablets etc. As long as you've got Kodi on it, you'll be set (y)

Also, there's different makes of box, so I don't know if that makes a difference. Mine is an 'MXQ' , I've had it for about a year now & never had a minutes trouble with it.
Im guessing kodi is the footie 'channel'? Cheers for the info. I get bored of having to use crap streams!

No mate, Kodi is an app which you can put add-ons onto to get access to more content. Oh & there's a lot of streams that are in HD, too (y)

sorry coopsie, but do you 1) know the recommended internet speed needed to get it working? 2) does the Android Box need to be connected to the TV?

only ask as 1) in a village we only get about 7, 2) the wife would kill me if i needed to replace an ethnet cable with 1 that stretches another 15ft

Mate, when it comes to anything tech related, I am SHIT!! Seriously, if I didn't have kids, I'd not have a clue how to use half of the electrical things I own. But each of those links helped me out massively. I just kept pausing them while I tried to do as the person says, and in the end I had all the add-ons & other things working perfectly.

I still have no idea how I did it, but the box works great.

Yep. You'll go into Kodi, then go to one of the add-ons (in my experience, the best ones are UKTURK, Phoenix, vdub25 & Genesis) and then you'll see the choices of all the fixtures. I've not had many Saturdays where I haven't been able to get a lovely Full HD stream.
