Hey all!

I know this isn't necessarily Spurs Chat, however I am delighted to announce that my wife and I have been given the gift of our first baby! She is 7 weeks early, so still very little but is doing very well in the Special Care facility at the hospital and hopefully be taking her home in the next 2-3 weeks!

My wife is all good and was brilliant throughout the whole process, and I was just a bumbling mess trying to look calm!!

So, therefore, our daughter who is named Ivy Rue, is the newest Tottenham fan right now :)!

Congratulations! Hope you are all doing well and that you're all home together very soon!

As @Lighty64 alludes to, make the most of it whilst she doesn't move around - our 2.5 year old bolts everytime we put him down, anywhere - which is fun (Although i can now cover all 28 aisles of Sainsburys in 6.5 seconds)!

Congratulations again!

Congratulations mate. Enjoy every moment, take shit loads of photos and videos. The next few years are going to go by so quickly.

It's definitely the greatest thing that will ever happen to you. Certainly is for me.

Enjoy the first 12-18 months because after that, the real fun starts. She will be running rings around you and your missus. But they are funny at the age when they start chatting to you as well.

There's a few good threads on chat as well if and when you need them.

Enjoy and congrats. Just had two twin boys myself 7 weeks ago, so know how hard it is. One thing you don't want her getting is colic. Prepare yourself and enjoy the sleepless nights

Congratulations to both of you. Make sure you have enough quality time for her. Enjoy her company as much as you can, believe me, her early years are the most important years to build an early bond which will last a lifetime.

May God keep her and the missus well and healthy.

Congratulations, and all the best through her first few weeks. My brother in law had a son 5 weeks early recently, and he's now hale and hearty.

Brilliant news mate and all the best to you and the family. Our 2nd is due in a couple of months and having a boy this time so they'll be the next gen of spurs fans...if only they knew what they were letting themselves in for ;)
