I have been thinking to myself for a while, that as one of our most beloved players and a legend in the making (if he is not one already), The Beast, needs his own song. This thought was prompted again today when reading one of Punky's posts in another thread.

So, with our heads hanging in shame at why we haven't bestowed SuperSandro with a fitting song, I put you all to work!

Just a quick one to help start you off:

To the tune of 'I Am The Piano Man'

Su-per su-per, Sa-ahn-dro Sa-ahn-dro Sa-ahn-dro

Su-per su-per, Sa-ahn-dro super Sa-ahn-dro!

He already has one:

Sandro, Sandro,
Tottenham Hotspur's Brazilian Yiddo!

Sung at the last few away games I have been to, even got a run out at the Lane against Reading

I know that one and I don't really like it as it is too difficult to get it really going through the whole ground. Too fast for me :D

I had never heard it before now. How long has that been going for? I would say that that is more of a chant then a song but Im nt splitting hairs, I just think Sandro deserves someting a bit more substantial from us.

*Pulls cotton out of ears and puts on dunces hat*

Well I think we need more songs in general. Some original and catchy ones with a verse or two about them.

Probably only heard it once since he signed.

Ain't a good song but better than nothing. Just need the masses singing it.

That current one mentioned has been sung at the last three games I've been at by me and those around me, but two of them were 1882 games where the songs are plentiful and the full repertoire of old favourites get busted out.

Yeah, I was with the 1882 vs. Pana and thought the Sandro song was awful. Although LOVED the nostalgic 'My name is Nicola Berti, I'm aged about 30...'

Although it doesn't make sense, can we not go for something like:
Hey Sandro!
Sandro Braziliano!

To the mambo italiano tune?

how about you are my sandro (tune of you are my sunshine)

You are my Sandro, my only sandro
You make me happy, when skies are gray
So #£#" your Lampards and stevie Gerrards
Please don't take my Sandro away

Completely ripped off from Northern Ireland games (it's our steven Davis song believe it or not) but might work.

Or maybe not........

........I'll get my coat:cautious:

This is the best suggestion I've seen so far, on top of the "Tottenham Hotspur's Brazilian Yiddo"

Sounds a bit gay in that video, but when a crowd's singing it:

Sandrooo, la la la la la la la laaa,
la la la la la la, Sandro, Sandro
la la la la la la la laaa,
la la la la la la, Sandro, Sandro

LOVE IT. Would be best with a drummer though.

Here another one in my mind:

"I just can't get enough of Sandro (playing) dö dödöödödödödö dö dö dö [...]"

Like this song at Celtic games, insert possible verse

:singing: Saaaaaa-aaaaa-aaaaa-aaaaa-annnnnn-droooo Oba Oba Oba. (repeat ad infinitum)
To the tune of Mas Que Nada by Sergio Mendes which is that famous Brazilian song which was used in the Nike adverts (I think).

The word Oba means Wow according to Google translate.

(to the tune of the Sol Sol song)

Sandro, the beast to you and me.
He's great at football and karate.
He could crush Chuck Norris like he's a little flea.

Quality song but unfortunately would never get sung as too complex and the tune is associated with abuse!

I personally think you are on to something here though.

Did a whole thread on here at the start of the season saying Geno by dexys midnight runners would be brilliant for Sandy, would be as infectious as the Liverpool Torres chant

Ohhhhhh, that's what that is! Last bit is pretty incomprehensible though, which is a shame, but I'll give it a go next time out. Got plenty of airtime at Reading, and deservedly so.

Would still love to hear a proper chant based around that song Sandro's cousin did, that'd sound quality.
