Don't ever let a Chelsea fan try and tell you to stop going on about the money, that it's not about that and that you're just bitter.

Of course it's about the f**king money. It's ALL about the money.

The month Abramovich arrived they were on the brink of bankruptcy, unable to make their next debt repayment due to years of financial mismanagement, having massively overspent on players and wages in a desperate attempt to compete with us, Man Utd and Liverpool.

The Russian paid off their £90 million debt immediately and has subsequently pumped a billion (some say almost two) pounds of his dubiously earned money into the club on transfers, obscene wages and bonuses, infrastructure and the poaching and paying off of a succesion of managers. The financial mismanagement has continued on a massive scale. It's just that they can get away with it now because of the dirty Russian.

The argument that all successful clubs including Arsenal have bought success is bogus. We have only spent the money we've earned and what we have spent is a tiny fraction of their obscene outlay. They have had it handed to them on a plate as a gift for nine years now. Even Man Utd's massive spending in the past was funded from a position of enormous income.

Every trophy they have won since Abramovich took control has been bought by him. Every Chelsea fan would have cringed when Abramovich lifted that trophy yesterday because they all know in their hearts that it really is HIS trophy. He had every right to lift it because he paid for it.

So Chelsea fans it IS all about the money. You don't f**king deserve the success that it has bought you. You are the luckiest club in the history of football. And that's not bitterness, it's just fury and hatred.

And while we're on the subject...

There are many reasons to despise Chelsea Football Club.

The fans - be they plastic glory-hunters or neanderthal nazis singing songs about killing jews and gas chambers and disrespecting minute's silences for Hillsborough victims. I have witnessed groups of them on trains racially abusing passengers and staff, singing "Hitler was a Blue, he gassed the ******* Jews" and spitting, belching, farting and generally wallowing in being animals, utter subhuman scum. And let's not forget how fickle and disloyal they are. The week before their "Saviour" Mourinho was sacked CFC played a Champions League match in front of a half-empty Stamford Bridge. Home attendances in the 80s and even the 90s were frequently under 10,000.

The captain - a shameless, classless Chav who racially abuses opponents, abuses 9/11 victims, shags teammates girlfriends, parks in disabled parking bays, urinates on night club floors, kicks, pulls, knees, elbows and generally fouls and cheats his way through games, etc etc etc..

The other obnoxious, cheating mercenaries in their ranks including Cashley Cole and Diving Didier.

Their "history" - they were formed as a business idea rather than a football club. The ground was bought and then the players were poached from existing clubs. No gradual development of a works or factory team or social/athletic club like other clubs. Before the Russian they had one league title to their name (1955 under former Arsenal legend Ted Drake, won with the lowest points total ever, the only major trophy they won before 1970!) and a few cups. Reknowned for being flash, cocky and aggressive with odious, notoriously violent, racist fans to match.

For all these reasons and more Chelsea truly are the scum of the football world. As an Arsenal fan I naturally hate Spurs but my loathing for Chelsea is on another level altogether.

Rant over.

Swap the last bit to as a Spurs fan I naturally hate Arsenal but my loathing for Chelsea is on another level altogether. and this is exactly my view on the most HATED club in the country.

Was watching the game on Saturday night in the pub an 80% were Spurs and Arsenal all wanted Bayern to win.

I HATE CHELSEA!!!!!

why don't we just ask Antlesh what he thinks of Chelsea? we have our own resident Gooner why bother researching other Gooner's views?

In all honesty I have always hated Chelsea more than Arsenal, I grew up in Chelsea territory. Went to school with more Chelsea fans than gooners and the Chelsea fans were certainly the worst

In fact I was never even that bothered by Arsenal until the Sol Campbell incident as all my dealings was Arsenal fans was only ever amicable while Chelsea were nasty and arrogant

Because if I was an Arsenal fan I would be nearly as pissed off as I am now. I was right they are pissed off, just wanted clarification.

Chelsea and now City are killing the game.

In 1911 Man Utd were bankrolled by their wealthy owner to the tune of 60k which bought the land for their move to Old Trafford, at the time 60k was 60 times the then transfer record. 60 times the current transfer record today is 4.8 billion.

It's not a new thing really.

Listening to the news on 5 Live this morning. When the Champions League trophy was paraded in Liverpool in 2005 police estimated 1 million people came to watch. For Chelsea the estimate was 80,000. Says it all.

That is 2 things:
1) An utterly bogus way of making the calculation - just because transfer fees have inflated far beyond the value of money you can't choose to compare the 60k to that. The actual inflation adjusted figure is just over £5.5m.
2) Unfair in any case. You'll notice that investment in infrastructure is not limited by the new FFP rules. This is because buying land for building training grounds, stadia etc benefits the future of the game whereas paying £200k a week wages has a completely opposite effect.

It seems like a million Chelsea bandwagoners have congregated in my fucking office today however.

I put no real spin on what I said, obviously it is not the fairest comparison (should have made that clearer) but there is this sort of received wisdom that football was once this unspoilt game that was resistant to the ills of money, which is bollocks.

I don't like Chelsea and City's billions at all, by the way.

You should point out to your mate that Arsenal are little better, with their Henry Norris inspired corruption tainting their first 50 years.

Pretty much. SO much to dislike about assnal. Especially buying their way into the league in the first place. Denying their Sarf Lahndahn roots etc. However, they've won 13 titles and done it their own way. Even if they were the original Stoke for the first century of their existence.

Chelsea - they should just go back to organising Combat 18 meetings and watching the dogs race around their ground. That's what they are.

IMO Saturday was the worst ever day for football.

To be fair when some dodgy billionaire, the loathsome duo of John Terry and Ashley Cole, together with the chancellor of the exchequer who is currently busy fucking up the country are shown together celebrating winning Europe's top prize, then I'm inclined to agree with you.

The only slight positive, ONLY slight positive about Saturday was the expression I imagine Platini wearing. Face like a slapped arse I'll bet.

Great find, couldn't sum up my feelings anymore.
My dislike for Arsenal comes with an underlying sense of respect for their fans and the way their club is run.
My dislike for Chelsea comes from a pure hatrid of things that are wrong in both football and society, they are a disgusting club, the fans are a disgrace and they deserve no success, I fucking hate them and that is why I am still so so gutted about what happened. I'd rather Arsenal had won it and knocked us out than Chelsea, I hope they fall off the end of the earth and die.

Not to get too political, but this country was being fucked years before Osborne had to deal with any of it.
