Matey of mine told me today he saw Lennon in the Box in Headingley watching the Blackburn game with his entourage....

Not really what I expect from an injured player on match day to be honest.

I am outraged! How dare Aaron Lennon watch the professional team he plays for in a social situation. Sell him I say! Sell him!

If he had been in a box watching Chelsea, Arsenal or United at their ground then I might have been worried.

Does it really matter where he watches the game from? at least he was watching the team he plays for.

Yes when Harry has stated he does not want to see players in bars or nightclubs.

No, Harry has said he cant stop them from going to bars and nightclubs.

What he is/wants to stop them from doing is going out and getting drunk.

i think people are confused...

Lenon was not watching the game from a box at WHL, he was watching the game from The Box in headingly, which i can only assume is a bar from what other peopel have said

If he was drinking then I can see the issue, but if he was just watching the Spurs game with his mates in a pub then I'm not sure what the problem is.

I thought it was pretty standard that injured players go to home games (if they're mobile, obviously). I've seen Cudicini at most games recently, even when he was on crutches, for example. Don't reserve players normally go to games as well to support the senior team?

I don't know that Lennon watching it from a bar is that bad (unless he's getting trashed...at least he's watching and not sleeping one off!), but at this level I'd really expect someone to go to support their teammates. If I was a coach I'd be disappointed.

But nobody knows that 'Arry hasn't let him go back up to Leeds so it's all speculation

that sort of lily-livered "use us as a doormat" approach won't get us anywhere. no mercy i say, let him rot in the reserves

Lets hope the players don't interpret his stance like you do then. Because he has banned nightclubs and bars.

Did you know alcohol inhibits the healing process?

Not saying he was drunk. But he is a Spice Spur and they are all out of trust/excuses.
