Academy update – Dean Rastrick departs

We can today announce that Dean Rastrick has decided to step away from his role as Academy Manager in order to pursue new challenges and opportunities.

Dean joined us in 2010, initially as Academy Performance Manager, before being appointed as the Club’s Academy Manager in July, 2017. In July, 2020, Dean assumed overall responsibility for the Academy programme.

Interesting.i wonder if he was pushed or just been offered something better elsewhere.

Lots of changes which should be a good chance to reset everything.
