Got a link to a Milan forum, and just spent a few mins reading some of the tosh on there about Berbatov. Some want him, some think he's "not good enough". Was gonna ask if they'll be in the CL next season, cos if not, not to expect him, but you had to register to post, and I couldn't be arsed.

Anyway, found this there, thought you'd be interested.

So when is his 100th appearance for us due?

Edit:
Berbatov has scored 45 times in 98 appearances as of today.

cheers for the stats Lily - approx 1 goal in 2 games, which when combined with his assists, crucialparts in goals (as in yesterday) and general link up play is a great return - and shows the product that Berbs has given us

I wonder if his contribution has been similalrly good for his other clubs - but of course we only have the goals to see here

Ronaldinho 'agrees' Milan terms

Barcelona's Ronaldinho has reportedly agreed initial terms with Italian giants AC Milan, according to his brother and agent Roberto de Assis.
The Brazilian, 28, is set to miss the rest of the season with injury but is said to be disillusioned with life at the Nou Camp and keen for a move.
De Assis insisted it was not yet a done deal but said: "Basically, Ronaldinho and Milan have come to an agreement.
"He was impressed with first contact with them, they are a great team."
Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani said: "There is a general agreement with the player. Now a deal has to be reached with Barcelona. Give us time."
The forward has also been linked with a move to Manchester City after De Assis was a guest at the home game against Chelsea.
But De Assis claims the meetings at Eastlands were regarding "personal matters" and did not concern his brother.
And he now believes only a fee needs to be agreed with Barca for the two-time world player of the year to make the move to Italy a reality.

He added: "The important thing is that he will be happy. When will a deal be finalised? You have to be patient."
Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti admitted on Friday he would like to bring both Ronaldinho and Chelsea's out of favour striker Andriy Shevchenko to the San Siro next season.
Milan are fifth in Serie A and in danger of missing next year's Champions League after a poor season.
They were knocked out of this year's Champions League as holders by Arsenal in the first knockout round.
And Ancelotti's men have struggled to score and create goals with Brazilian Ronaldo playing just a handful of games before being ruled out long term with a knee injury.

Surely the fee for him would mean they arent gonna get berbagod as well?? GOOD NEWS IMO

Milan should have a great team next year with Ronaldinho, Sheva and Berbs.

Even for Bulgaria his stats of goals to games ratio is very good (if I find an updated stat, I'll post).

I know the Bayer Leverkusen fans were very sad to see him leave, and he seems to have had a good relationship with them there.

I remember when there was talk of us signing him, TalkSPORT's German Corespondent Raphael Honingsteen described him as an "aesthetic player who was voted the most elegant to watch in the Bundesliga", but didn't think he'd make much impact in the hurly burly of the PL. Paul Hawksbee made him admit he was wrong at the end of last season!

I think, by his own admission, Berba's all round game has improved since joining us, and certainly his world wide profile as a player has.

Today there was a very long interview (about 30 minutes). Again the same things - "I am happy with Spurs, the fans are great, they make me feel better and play better". But he also said that playing in CL is something different, he has felt what it is about and he wants to feel it again. Then again said that Spurs are great, Huande is great, teammates are great and it is not fair to ask him if somewhere it won't be greater :) Then he talked about non-football realted things, it was very interesting actually - about charity, happiness, sadness, women, his drawings, shopping, London and life as a whole. so nothing really new...

Yes, it was on BTV and i check a few sites regularly for it but it is not online yet. It was a really great interview, because as the journalist said people know how he scores goals but know very little of him as a person. BTW, at the end of April, the new MAX magazine will be with Berbatov, published in Italy and Bulgaria.

That's true, although he seems very busy (he must've been on 4 planes last week, to and from Blackburn and to and from Bulgaria) I get the impression he leads a solitary life, so will be very interesting to hear more about him.

Thanks for the updates, as always.
I probably wont be able to get that Magazine, but look forward to hopefully seeing the scans online.

I read this article but it is only about the things i mentioned - "i give everything i can,I play, practise, i have a contract and i am happy with Spurs and when the speculations are over everything will be clear "
About the CL - "i may want many things but they may not happen at all. I want to play in the CL, i have played there and i know what it is, i am not young now, so i haven't got much time"
"I don't want to speak about my private life. I only want to wish everybody who wants newspapers to write about him, to become famous because of their own skills, because of theimselves as people. Speculations about my private life irritate me, i don't see much point in talking who sleeps with whom or in what position they have sex. I am above these things"
The article is very short :\

Thank you Gabi, it's always a pleasure to hear him talk.....and quite amusing too.

Nice also to hear that he is in no way being disrespectful to Spurs, if things had worked out differently this season, I'm sure he could've been happy to see out his career with us.
