You're probably gonna get slammed for this and I think you knew that, but I do agree with you. On an even level, sure I'd take Lallana. But considering the price disparity, Milner's ability to play a bit deeper in midfield, and the proven winner's mentality of Milner (therefore would bust his bollocks in the high press from midfield in every single game he plays), I'd certainly take Milner given our current circumstances and use that money elsewhere.
I'd sure as Hell take Milner over Lennon. I also love the idea of Milner being that impact sub late in just about any situation (press to win the ball back to spring a necessary attack or simply to give some extra grit to see out a lead). Having Lamela and Milner manning the right of our attack sounds pretty good to me.
