We need a better player in attack than Lucas & Bergwijn. Traore is decidedly not that player. You cant reasonably look at his output & say “oh well it will be better with Son & Kane.” What happens when one of them gets hurt & we have absolutely nothing? I hope Nuno or Paratici sees the light here. Stay far away from him. We need goals & creativity.

I think he would be useful today. Son and Bergwijn both always come inside and it allows Watford to surround them. We need someone more direct to get on the outside. Gil can add that but he is also a playmaker who can roam. Traore would give us another dimension to take players on the outside and unbalance them. I feel we're too static out wide at times taking a touch and then looking for a ball into the box. If we have someone who just gets on the ball and runs at opponents it will pull players around and open space.

The one time Bergwijn did that he drew the foul. You have to mix it up. If you're a defender and expect the winger to come inside all the time, it's so easy to deal with. But if you don't know which way he's gonna go, there's a chance you make a mistake.

well I’m pretty sure personal details have been agreed with the player. So it’s a matter of agreeing with wolves.
