I’d rather we bought someone off the long list of world-beating players with absolutely zero flaws in their game instead. Most of them are itching to show off their talents in the European Conference League and I’m sure that we’d get plenty of change for our £40million.

Typical Spurs.

I'm into this idea just because it would be fun to have him in the side and we've been boring for ages and we deserve it. Weird logic but I'm going with it

It’s not immaterial tho is it. If he was the second coming of Ryan Giggs he wouldn’t be playing in Birmingham. Fact.

Bet his conversion stats are true shite. Stats can make a Donkey look horny.

Think you are missing something here... Definitely isn't playing in Birmingham ? Not that it matters... When you take a step back if he can beat a man or 2 and create space for players like Son and Kane it can only lead to positive results?

I’m surprised people see this as such a sure thing to complete - I’m kind of surprised they’re prepared to let him go.

Personally I think he would give us more threat and create more chances - no bad thing.

Think it’s a long shot though

I think it's the contract situation, in addition to wolves' financial situation, which is convincing people this will happen.

I have only seen highlights of the Wolves game but it did seem to me on a couple of occasions his final ball would have been better if there anyone in the box for him to actually pass to. Seems to me he needs strikers who can keep up with him.
And I'm one who leans towards the no side.

I would absolutely love it if we signed Traore, his pace and physicality is a real plus when attacking. The thing that defenders hate the most is being turned to face your own goal, with ATs ability to get past a player he disrupts the defensive line creating space that players like Son, Kane etc could really exploit. Get him in ? plus it would probably make Jason McGovern quit TLWOS again.

Don't forget this is a player who was in the 24 man squad for Spain at the Euros too so Enrique must see something in him too.

If anything I'd say it was more likely than not with Mendes in the mix.

Funnily enough Spanish football fans I know couldn’t understand why he was in the squad.
Their chosen replacement? Bryan Gil

Tbh I don’t have an issue with this transfer if it means we would also get Odsonne Edouard.
Not confident that we will but can totally see the positives to bringing him in.

Ok I'll ask, TLWOS?

Same here. I don't care anymore. Adama could be fun at least.

How much fun will it be to bring Traore on against Arsenal and watch him destroy their fragile defence.

I'm firmly on the Adama train now.

My first reaction was the same as many on here, that he lacked end product.

After thinking about it I do think he can offer other things that we need. First of all he is capable of marauding runs and dragging the team forward with him. We currently struggle to hold on to the ball, and Adama could provide an output for that. I can see many attacks starting with Adama carrying the ball over distance.

Im addition, opposition has to double up on him. This will give Kane and Son more room to do their thing. It might nor add up to goals and assist for Adama, but he will play his part in it. It's to easy to shut us down by marking Kane and Son. Lucas and Bergwjin has their positives, but dragging defenders all over the pitch aren't one of them.

Lastly, it's the man Nuno wants. That alone should carry a lot of weight.

Funny enough I thought they needed him on the pitch in some games when they were being to predictable. Having Traore on there would have given their technical players even more space and opportunities to create chances.

Imagine Kane trying to keep up with Traore in attack :ROFLMAO:
