If Traore is a no go, is Eduoard as a second forward a decent backup option?
A ton of questions about his attitude, but at this point it may that beggars can’t be choosers. We simply have to get another attacking player.

If Mendes has been signed by Traore to handle his transfer this window and Traore fails to move then how good is Mendes really? This especially in view of what we’ve been given to understand is a special relationship between Nuno and Mendes. A double fail then. And, going for the triple, Paratici has been hailed as the master deal-maker. If we fail here then maybe leadership is not all that we’ve been led to believe it is.

Interesting times. COYS.

I don't know anything about him but for the fact he's a forward so he's better than getting nobody. I would also look at getting Braithwaite from Barca as an alternative.
I would honestly prefer Wout Weghorst too either of the others you mention

You cannot draw those conclusions from one failed deal. Kane missed a chance yesterday; does that mean he’s not as good a player as we think he is?

Does Wolves signing Hwang Hee-chan improve our chances?

I mean for their forward options they currently have: Hwang, Podence, Neto, Trincao, Silva, Jimenez

You'd think they have enough players there, but I reckon they would want 1 more if Traore was to go.

This is the problem. Nuno wanted him from the off, Fab and Hitch were not convinced. His performances this season have now convinced them, but those performances have also pushed his price up.

This one pretty much rests on Mendes, as to whether it happens or not.
A handful of games have convinced them?

Really poor planning imo.

Hwang Hee Chan would have been a good backup striker shout for us.

I was really impressed with Trincao yesterday.

I’d evaluate it as a cornerstone deal. And a deal that the player wants, an important agent (Mendes) supposedly wants, and our coach wants. Or so we’ve been told. We’ve also been told by Valencia Yid that the club is doing all it can to get into Champions League. It’s going to be very tough this year with other PL clubs seemingly ahead of Spurs. But this one player could tip the balance in our favour. No other player that’s been mentioned recently is as important in this way. My opinion of course.

It’s tough times financially - but if the Club is to progress then the investment must be made. Money talks. I fear it will be another whisper from the those that run the Club.

Hope I’m wrong and hope that the Dons (Levy and Paratici) will pull the Traore rabbit out of the hat.

This is feeling like the Berahino deal, hope Traore's career doesn't go the same way if it doesn't happen!

Nuno is Mendez's client. Fabio is not, and he's directly responsible ultimately to Daniel Levy who has a deep seated mistrust of agents and their work, according to commonly accepted knowledge. Sorry, but your post is too mistrusting of Fabio's position here, in my opinion.

How shit are mega rich Man City for not getting Kane to them for £75m + £25m in add ons?

Traore has a contract with them, we’ve not much insight into what we’ve offered them nor do we have any insight into whether Wolves’ desired replacement has materialised or not.

I don’t think Paratici and Mendes can hypnotise the powers that be at Wolves into selling just because we want them to. ?
