Since when does football involve a moral compass? Didn't for tevez, sol, and so many more.

That's why I'm more mad at the Premier League instead of Arsenal for that crap last weekend. It's professional sports and they use the rules and the system to their advantage. Sure it's absolute BS but if it's your advantage then do it.

Haggling over £5m? Doesn't sounds like Daniel!

It doesn't sound like a lot of money when you just talk a out a 5 or a 2 or a 10 here and then. Consider putting some zeroes behind the numbers. Consider multiplying by amount of deals made over a couple of years. Look at your new number.

It might have been 20 mill before he scored the goal against Southampton but rest assured Wolves will look to get as much as they can from this deal. I mean, look at Bergwijn. Before the 2 goals, we would have accepted a fee north of 20+ million for him, now he's not going anywhere.

And then consider what it takes to keep a manager like ours....if indeed you intend to keep him

Perhaps we‘re trying to get someone out of the door as part of the deal, hence the offer of £15m? They say £15m is not enough. We say that’s all the cash that is available, so how about Doherty too? Just forget about what we still owe you?

I think it'll only affect his price if other teams become interested.

After Leicester, I wouldn't be giving Doc away too cheaply. He might be a better RWB than Traore, and I never thought I'd write that ?

I'm not saying Conte shouldn't be backed. And I'm not an all-in pro Levy fanatic, I'm just trying to be sensible. 5000000 pounds extra every time you do a deal is a lot of money. We can all pretend to know what we're talking about, valuating players and pretend-running the club from the couch, when in reality we don't really have a clue how things work.

I hope Conte is backed. It sounds like he will be. Let's see what happens.

Exactly and because we're not a rich man's plaything, we have to make every million count.
It's just good business and trying to make the most of whatever our budget is.

We don't have the luxury of a 70M backup keeper.

Where are the media reports saying that Wolves need to be reasonable and just let him go for whatever price that Spurs offers? Clearly Traore is too good for Wolves, and they should not stand in the way of his dream move of joining up with Conte at Spurs…
