Heard far worse sung at us and by us.

How can any of you get that irate about such a thing.

Even a few of my scum mates think its funny.

If you really find it that offensive I suggest you go and follow an egg chasing team.

oh good response you. Let's all accept racism, but only if "we've heard worse" chants and if our friends of rival teams find it funny.

just accept its racist and racism is wrong and quit your chav bitchnig.

I think we should remove the reference to elephants since it offends so many of our sensitive fans.

Perhaps we could sing something about his dad sucking cock?

See, it's this kind of crap that means every single thing you say has to be analysed to decide if you're racist.

Maybe some sing it and mean it as racist, in which case this song is the least of their problems - stopping them singing will not stop them thinking and feeling the way they do. Highlighting it just gives them a reason to use it. If everyone took it as the spazzy, light hearted, ribbing football song it is most likely sung as by 90% of those who join in.

As stated, washing elephants and being a whore are not race related. Sing it to yourself right now, out loud, or in your head it's up to you.

How dumb is that song? Seriously - it's the kind of shit a ten year old might sing. If you can get so offended by such a childish song then i suggest you're maybe too sensitive.

If you don't complicate something, take it as exactly what it is, this song is nothing at all.

If someone is racist, they are racist, this song has no bearing on that. People who have no shadow on their soul will sing this song and chuckle at the childish insult they're hurling at an opposing player. 1% of the crowd will find offence in it, but i guess these are the same people who watch Eastenders with a notepad, ready to be offended at the first opportunity so they can write to Terry Wogan, "I am deeply offended by the use of the phrase 'Pikey' in reference to blah blah blah..."

There are more important things in your life.

Personally, i wouldn't sing it but that's because i think it's a shit song. That's my opinion though and i'm a rebel... was nearly a revel - thank god i previewed it

Sort of well said, but the problem with political correctness is that it isn't about what you think, its about what you think other people might possibly think... potentially. The song isn't even slightly upsetting to me (as a white middle-class 30 something male - I rule the world!), but I have to appreciate that I don't have the same outlook as some people.

It's a hot potato.

While were talking offensive songs, what about martin keown and his monkeys head? Did he have a monkeys head? was the song offensive to monkeys? were we being racist to a white bloke? or was he just a fucking gooner?
Remember on sunday, singing about lampard is offensive to lardy`s everywhere.
