Yep its an inverted Nazi salute kinda like the reverse Nazi salute that Anelka got into trouble for. Don't tell the FA though

Bale has made money by trade marking his goal celebration. So i guess every plyer wants their own trade mark. Image rights etc...

I guess the US Army may have something to say if Ade trademarked that salute.

I never read or researched anything on it,... just assumed he was saluting Spurs' fans....

It's likely nothing to do with his brother or the bus incident, it's been a celebration of his for a while. He used it as far back as when he was at the goons

Google bale trademark (sorry can't link) some articles reckon it could be worth £3m a year.

I'm aware of it mate. But to the best of my knowledge, he's yet to earn a nickle.

Bale has made nothing from that awful trademark, it has cost him money and made him look a tool.

Unless he brings out merchandise I can't see him ever making money from it

And if he ever does actually launch anything, the kids that buy that merchandise will get beaten up on the way to school, at lunchtime, and then again on the way home.
