Reporting for service surely, after being out in the cold for so long. That's my assumption. Quite like it really.

I always salute him back.

The Fighting Cock guys said the other week that it'd be awesome if he scored against Arsenal and did it in front of the Park Lane and we all saluted back.

That would be a picture for the ages.

EDIT: Also, this is my current work desktop ...

Bale has made money by trade marking his goal celebration. So i guess every plyer wants their own trade mark. Image rights etc...
I guess the US Army may have something to say if Ade trademarked that salute.

On the other hand it's a masonic sign for distress.

Anyone know why he suddenly started doing it every time he scores?

I never read or researched anything on it,... just assumed he was saluting Spurs' fans....

I will check the internets now to find out how wrong I am... :bag:

I have to admit, I find myself saluting when he scores....it's so simply yet cool.

It's likely nothing to do with his brother or the bus incident, it's been a celebration of his for a while. He used it as far back as when he was at the goons

Bale has made nothing from that awful trademark, it has cost him money and made him look a tool.

Unless he brings out merchandise I can't see him ever making money from it

And if he ever does actually launch anything, the kids that buy that merchandise will get beaten up on the way to school, at lunchtime, and then again on the way home.
