*STOOF LOOK AWAY NOW*

Apparently he has signed a new 5 year deal at the club.

Information courtesy of Benji from FTL.

Good news I say.

sounds like other clubs were sniffing around then. must have been in the manager's plans to be offered that length of contract

I guess they see the potential and think they can kick the blinkers of him. I think it would have been a shame to have let him go personally.

If new contract is true, wouldn't be surprised to see a loan follow soonish though.

With the new rule of having 7 subs coming in next season i would guess that we would see more of Mr Taarabt, and i hope some more of the youngsters.

I'm not sure he's an ITK per se, but he said the info comes from a mate, who was told this by Adel himself.

I see he's linked with a loan move to West Brom in the NOTW, could be a good loan for him with a team who play decent football.

if thats true then yeah thats pretty cool, with the 7 sub rule next year i can see him being an impact sub or hitting the bench a lot more often, also i reckon a pre season with ramos and his friends will do the lad some good

Yeah, I think a preseason with Ramos will be good for everyone at the club. Hopefully Taarabt can be coached, and taught that to make it as a top footballer he's got to learn when to use his tricks, and when to pass. There were a couple of cameos this season where he seemed to have improved, I think Arsenal away was one, and PSV at home the other, but then Newcastle he seemed to have gone backwards a bit.

Loan him out for a year, imo.

Great that he's signed, if that's the case, but i'd still send him out to another club to guarantee him some proper first team games and look at his progress after that.

I think the waty taarbet plays him going to a championship team will be more healthy for him. But west brom will do me. And then If hes playing really well we can recall him and unleash the power

Give him the loan, sure, but pre season with the first team squad first I think.

yeah loaning him is probably a great idea, yet i would still prefer him to spend a load of time with ramos during pre season, maybe he can be a deadline day loan or something

that would be sweet if WBA loan him! Provided they play him, he'd get wicked-kewl prem experience with a shit team. He'd be bossing it up there!

I really rate him despite his greediness. Really want him to develop into something special.. And with spurs.

Well Martin tried putting an arm round him, Clive has tried shouting at him, maybe Juande and his blackboard are the answer.

But since Adel seems impervious to coaching, I suspect it would be more helpful to have him spend preseason with the players he will be working with. Peer pressure could be the answer!

Yep. Stick him in someone's first team and exposed to responsibility.

But remember one of the English traits which also happens to be a drawback is that we just love to train the skill and innovation out of talented players. Here is a box and you must stay in it, so to speak.
Ginola was a player who had his own mind - went missing for eighty minutes then sublimely put three points on a plate for us.

For Ginola and a handful of others, think Taraabt, and we hold his registration. The responsibility to nurture lies with THFC.
