Apropos of nothing, signing a contract is an exceptionally good way of securing a bigger transfer fee...even within a handful of weeks of signing it.

As people have said, he needs a full Ramos pre-season before we consider loaning him out, and if we loan him out after the proper season has started a team like WBA would be a good move for him. And if he wants to stay in London, Fulham might not be a bad idea if they stay up. Hodgson is a quality gaffer.

Yep. Stick him in someone's first team and exposed to responsibility.

But remember one of the English traits which also happens to be a drawback is that we just love to train the skill and innovation out of talented players. Here is a box and you must stay in it, so to speak.
Ginola was a player who had his own mind - went missing for eighty minutes then sublimely put three points on a plate for us.

For Ginola and a handful of others, think Taraabt, and we hold his registration. The responsibility to nurture lies with THFC.

Fully agree with your views about coaching in Britain. That's why England never does well in international. I know people will argue about the 66 WC, but that was at home and they did not really shine as other WC winners did.

If we really see something in Taarabt, I hope he is coached by a continental or South American coach.

I had a feeling Tarrabt will stay. Boateng will be sent out on loan/sold though, I reckon. He didn't even look like he wanted to warm-up before the match yesterday. He just spent about 15 minutes doing stupid smartarse chip shots in to the back of an empty net. The fucker almost hit me.

What many people seem to forget - and some have even written off Taarabt already - is that he's still only 18. How many 18 years old are regular not just for a top team but at any EPL team right now? None that I can think of.
At least give him time. And forget that stupid agent that compared him with Zidane.

An obviously gifted player, getting rid of whom now would be extremely foolish.

He's still got a lot of development ahead of him, but if the great and good of SC have noticed that then you can be pretty sure Ramos and his pals will have too.

The problem is that Adel seems to forget that. He thinks he should be playing for the first team.

Gareth Bale?

Not sure about this. He's only one year into a five year contract. Everyone is now on long contracts at the club (Defoe was the only one who wasn't. Berbatov's will be likely be the next renewed (we're offering higher terms for 5 years rather than taking up his +2 option on current salary)).

This is more likely than any talk of Taarabt handing in a transfer request (which is complete nonsense btw) but I've not heard anything about this.

Dan why all of a sudden are you talking like Levys right hand man?? Do spurs have to let you know about everything they are doing?

A lot of what I hear will be 'party line' of course.

Info comes in fits and spurts and there's just been a lot of late because everyone's interested and asking questions (Modric's fault!).

Another site was saying he was home sick and wants first team football and hasnt been guarenteed this with us so wants to leave with going back to France his first option! But If its true he has signed a new 5 year deal Ramos has obvouisly got him in his plans! I think he should be sent out on loan next season to a premiership club give him some first team experience and lets see what he can do! Im sure this will help him develop as player more than playing a reserve team match once or twice a month!

5 year contract !
Adel will be shown the door this summer, as wonderful as he is skill wise he will not listen to any advice or tactics.
Also another youngster young Rosie has been pulled in and told to shape up or ship out, his attitude is worse than Lennon when he first arrived and the bright lights of London and the wannabe gangstar mentality ensured he was hauled up in front of Ramos a few weeks back. This comes from Rose's dad himself.
