When he produces it on a regular basis or against half decent opposition then these kind of opinions will hold some form of substance. I scored 5 in power league last week and set up 4 - maybe THFC missed a trick by not signing me up

Goes to show that players, especially young players, need games....

That said, I'll wait to see if he can do it in the Premiership, against top quality defenders. Enough players have ripped up the championship but been found out at a higher level.

One of the things that might have helped him the most is being captain and being centre of attention.

he's a maverick. the highlights on SSN said everything about the man.

tried to beat the keeper near post from the byline rather than pass, next he jinked past two players to curl it inside the far post. The last clip was that pass for Routlegde, it was outstanding.

He needs to be centre stage and he's getting that right now. He will go on to big things and its gonna be entertaining watching him

We never gave him a run.

He did deserve 5 games on the trot

Let's see how he does in the premiership

Very easy to look good in the Championship. Keep in mind that Jamie O'Hara ran the Portsmouth midfield in the Premiership recently and people aren't clammering for him to be in the team.

I'd love to know where all the Taarabt fans would play him in our current team?

If he comes up into the Premiership and performs for a year or so then we can judge. Saying we made the wrong decision based on a run of games in the Championship smacks of desperation.

Why did he deserve that? What did he do to deserve those games? The few times he played he passed it about 3 times (in total) and created nothing. In the reserves he was apparently poor. In training he must have contributed very little otherwise he'd have started to get a look in. What did he do to deserve 5 games on the trot?

It is just so typical of Spurs fans, just as long as he can do a few step overs, he is the new messiah.

The only redeeming feature here is that Taarabt is young, where as Rob Earnshaw has tried it and failed, maybe Taarabt will try and succeed, but at the moment he is just a player succeeding at Championship level, hence 'Rob Earnshaw' is closer to the truth than the level some on here have elevated him to.

How about we all bang on about another youngster, a youngster that dropped down to Championship level and succeeded so much a Premiership team wanted him, you know, our player, Kyle Walker?

More fun to ramble on about Taarabt though hey?

Do we have to go through this every time he has a decent game at championship level?
He crossed the boss, he thought he was entitled to play for a side that was challenging for a CL spot it's all about Adel and not the team.
Not only did he burn his bridges but he defecated on the ashes and then had a crafty J-Arthur on that mess.
He ain't coming back, go deal.

Totally agree TSH, he earnt nothing at Spurs. And from those highlights he's obviously still fucking selfish, that moment where he ran to the touchline and then shot into the side netting instead of squaring it to either of 2 team mates is a case in point. Plus his reaction when someone dared criticise him for it. Do you think Van Der Vaart would let him get away with that?

He was never ready to be a regular in the PL with us and whinged about being in the ressies or on loan. We got rid, get over it. I bet he's never more than a Big Time Charlie in a lower mid table PL side.

The only person who mentioned New Messiah and step overs is you. Dumb ass. So stop spinning. Taarabt has looked the most gifted player in the championship by quite a considerable margin. If QPR get promoted, I will applaud him if he can replicate his skill in the PL. I much prefer his attitude to football, than some of the grafters at Stoke etc.

Dumb ass, thanks for noticing.

Saying someone is the most gifted player in the Championship is like saying I'm the healthiest person in Scotland - it really doesn't say much.

If you can read between the lines you'll be able to work out why I mentioned a 'New Messiah' - that is the entire point. Taarabt is a decent player, not the player a few on here make him out to be.

Oh and I'll have you know, spinning is a great way to get fit and I will not stop for anyone, damn it.

Some people on this site would be happy for us to pay £20 M for last seasons
Championship star player. So if the guy makes it in the PL be happy, as he tries to play football:)
