I don't think execution is his problem at all, you only have to look at what he did last season to see that. His application and general attitude is what will hurt him. As for Savage apparently shutting him down, well Bale was shutdown by Eric Lichaj, Gretar Steinsson and Phil Neville, Modric has had ineffective games, Messi couldn't get the better of Noe Pamarot. It happens.

Just can't understand why you're all so bitter and desperately want to see him fail, there's a reason why PSG bid £13.5m for him ... it's because he's quite good.

im not bitter and i dont want him to fail its just people get way to excited about him hes decent not good or great in my eyes. Honestly you cant say hes going to be a world beater as you know hes always got the shoot himself in the foot ability if anything hes a typical spurs player....skills good to watch but always has the ability to fuck it all up!

I'm not sure there is. If they'd bid 5-7m maybe but 13.5m for a player who has only ever shown any quality in a second tier league is a big risk.

Fair enough if you rate his performances for QPR but do you honestly think he's worth 13.5m based on that? That must make Danny Graham worth at least 15m.

Welcome to 2011.

Danny Graham isn't better than Adel though so not sure what your point is. I'm sure you keep peddling the Scott Parker player of the year line so I'll just do the same regarding Adel.

Sadly 'peddling' the Championship player of the year doesn't really mean very much. But if you want to continue down that route, sadly the 2010 winner has already been snapped up by West Ham. I reckon Sylvan Ebanks Blake may still be available though.

personally I couldn't give a monkeys if he fails or makes it to the next level but I just don't like him very much as he's a massive twat

I'm in two minds about the PSG bid as on one hand it would get THFC a nice little wedge but on the other I would like to see how he does in the EPL next season, could you imagine him throwing a strop and fucking off before the game is over in the EPL lol that shit would be hilarious

I seem to remember Robbie Savage having Taarabt in his pocket last season

Add Matt Mills and Chris Gunter to that list as well. I'm not bothered, he'll eventually go for a load and we'll get a lot of it. If he goes we've made a 4.4 mil profit on it. I'm sure that'll help Dan and Harry sleep at night.
