I wish it wasn't talkshite reporting it as I'd be ecstatic to know we were after him.

I think he's the affordable type of creative Bernard-like player we should be after. 12 seems an incredibly fair number.

I think a front three of Bale-Chadli-Ljajic (Siggy) could be incredible. No one is the designated forward striker, but with the strong movement each brings they can all interchange over the pitch and cause marking to be nearly impossible. Not to mention they all can score from long range.

Or if there's a player of Soldado's class available on the squad then a 4-2-3-1 could be deadly with a rotation of Paulinho (Holtby), Dembele, and Sandro behind Bale, Chadli (Siggy), and Ljajic with Soldado up front is just wet dream worthy.

I'd be looking down this route if the Soldado thing doesn't come off for whatever reason. Play Chadli, Bale and one other slightly more subtle creator as the front three all interchanging. In fact I'd rather sign Ljajic for that sort of money and keep the strikers we have. Ljajic is mesmerizing at times and is really starting to deliver on all that potential.

Ljajic is a player i thought we would never ever have a shot at so never thought about us getting him, but if his contract is up next season then i think he would be a fantastic signing as he shouldn't cost tooo much especially if he is the one that doesnt want to sign a new one. Ether get some money now or nothing in a year. He is only going to get better and what with Jovetic gone he is probably eager to follow suit.

i've said on here before about ljajic but now we've signed chadli i find it hard to believe this would happen. utd fans seem to think he'll end up with them on a free next summer and that was their "plan" all along.

When llm hinted to some deals depending on who gets sold/loaned and also saying gylfi could end up on a loan maybe this is one of those? Getting ljalic if we move gylfi and dempsey?

Whilst I agree Siggy needs to stay, using todays game as any sort of factor in that is a little odd. I don't think today was even football and will have no bearing on our season.

Very exciting player. 21 years old, scores once every 150 min. in Serie A, and can play CF, LW, or as a second striker. I think he's even played RW on occasion. £12m would be a good price but if his contract is ending soon I'm sure Levy can smell blood in the water. Really hope there's something to this.
