This guy makes me jizz in my pants. How good is he in the LW position? Has there been any ITK on him (can't find any in the RO)?

I could go into a a brake down of how he is very strong across the front three but works best (in my opinion) on the left... but i wont so i will just say... yes he is very good on the left wing ;)

Hmmm, never heard of him before but he looks very decent. Like's taking on defenders along the goal line doesn't he.

I'm holding out until I hear some more reports about him with us interested before getting too excited.

Seems like a Levy type of purchase, but also way too good to be true as I already got the player I really wanted (Chadli).

Having already signed Chadli for the sane position, don't see how this signing makes sense unless we are offloading one of Lennon or Townsend. Personally, I think Lennon would raise more cash, and is only really effective RW, doesn't look as good on the left, whereas Townsend can play left or right with equal effectiveness. Lennon for the same or more as Ljajic, giving is Bale/Townsend RF cutting in, and Ljajic/Chadli LF cutting in, for €6/7m outlay.

nterviewed by TMW, Alex Vaiata, lawyer of Fiorentina 21 year old second striker Adem Ljajic, has declared: "Atletico, Tottenham and Milan? We don't know anything. They might be simply rumours as we have received no offers. Adem is working with Fiorentina and is focused on the new season. The new contract? For the moment no meeting for the club are scheduled. The player is happy to remain and has one more year on his contract, then we'll see.."

;) I think we should get him in case Soldado bid fails and we have to play Bale as CF.

I really want some positive ITK on this kid and hopefully we will make a move if/when we loose out on Bernard.

Yeah I think this would be a more sensible move than Bernard at twice the price, if it allows us to get Soldado and also a quality left back (say Coentrao for arguments sake).

He can compete with Chadli for the left wide forward spot, then we have some nice options:

RWF: Bale, Lennon or Townsend as back up.
CF: Soldado, Adebayor would be preferred back up for me with Defoe sold, then a youngster maybe as well.
LWF: Ljajic, Chadli battling it out.

Fiorentina signed Josip Ilicic. He's a different player, but plays in the same position as Ljajic

Maybe...

I have a feeling we will bid for him on the pretense that it's a typical Levy deal that just makes a load of business sense, but lolpool will scupper everything up with an astronomical bid and wages offering.

Then he'll turn them down publicly, and they'll whinge and say we "steal their targets" and "have no scouting system."

Dammit.

Well him and PEA are doing well for me in FIFA, but I guess it was time to start anew anyways.

Hearing Palmeri say it actually makes me doubt it more, but I guess a broken clock is right twice a day and I'd love him to be right about this. Ljajic is one of the only puzzle pieces I think we are missing right now.

Hopefully he actually spoke to Ljajic as he stated.
