Damned when they do, damned when they don't!

My little boy loved doing it.

Me, not so much, but if it makes the boy happy, then it's worth it...

and im guessing thats who its mainly aimed at.

We have had a big push for our younger support over the last few years and hope it pays off.

Yeah probably, but at the end of the day, it's just a bit of fun.

No harm in it at all.

A rather convenient distraction to take away the focus from Levy and the fact we don't have much to play for, after sending 100 million pounds and sacking a manager early on in the season.
Not much play for? THERE'S A BLOODY SALUTING COMPETITION MAN! Some people are never happy.

That's the thing, it's the school holidays-when I was 10 i'd have probably loved it. The problem with social media is that the audience is far too wide for tailored content without alienating certain facets of it. It is automatically put in the public sphere to be consumed by every Tottenham fan of every age, gender, nationality...and anyone else for that matter. I think that many are so despondent after this season is the real reason for the really negative reaction.

Bit naff I guess but don't know why this has caused such discussion when its something probably aimed at the younger fans. If I had to hazard a guess probably the anti-Adebayor sentiments still lurk away for some and something like this does just enough to press certain buttons... Put it this way if this was done previously with Bale and his celebration doubt it would have got much notice.

They'll be a DVD next. Or failing that, a short video montage of all the salutes on Spurs TV.

They'll be wanting the whole stadium to do it next...it'll be our poznan.

Let Levy come out and salute if they love it that much.

Why's everyone getting their knickers in a twist over a little bit of fun? Supporter engagement and all that?

The Lamela quip is excellent though.

seeing as he is the king of comedy. This is high praise indeed.

Come on people its a bit of fun. Remember the Bale Heart. nobody seemed to mind that. this season has really got to people. lighten up. its nearly over. then you can go moan about how badly England did in the world cup.

Proper gay... and trademarking a hand gesture? What a tart.

If someone else did it after a goal, would the bespectacled lawyer from the Simpsons appear with a court case for infringing on trademark?
