[Update 63] Akqayid - A few snippets

As close to ITK as your going to get. Nothing MAJOR, but stuff to pass on. Dinner with an old friend after the golf today at Wentworth, he works on TV rights, his missus works for a sports agency and the other 'guest' is a footballer.

Will answer PM's if need be. But my game is related to theirs.

- Don't be surprised to see Avram back at Chelsea in some role
- Harry and him are of course best mates, it's been discussed between them
- Harry ISN'T (most close to Jamie R think) going to Chelsea, the more interesting link is His England odds actually going up
- He WAS supposedly approached two years ago, and has been in the last six weeks, since Madrid.
- DL and HR DID supposedly fall out. HR wants more older established players, DL wants the sandro or English young route.
- Nearly all spurs players are quite close, no divides, no prima Donnas, and all like it there.
- All gutted to not be in UCL again, but want to get THFC there, no one else again for the short while
- no idea on transfer targets, BUT Gomes, it's totally up to him, supposedly have 1 lined up, and a young kid. No names

The one NON spurs thing is that Wenger has 18-24 months. Carling cup, fa cup, anything, the board are past pretty pictures. They want cups. Oh and Cesc Fab could be gone within 2 weeks!

That's all. Apart from my mate (golfer) signe a new deal with Under Armour and their stuff lined up for us is meant to be emense!

- Lennon NOT going anywhere, supposedly getting a new deal

- Bentley has choices but nothing SOLID for him yet, Fulham, QPR and Wolves (!) seem keen, player prefers to stay in London

- Wilson prob off for a Loan

- Modric (not much mentioned BUT as I said last week, he wants to leave, 'he'll kick and scream like a spoilt brat' now to push move through, been told 'good luck with that Luka'

- Beckham stuff in NOTW yesterday was actually made up nonsense by looking at this site and others and facebook comments! BUT 19 management have discussed November onwards, could be coaching/playing offer. Unsure 100% as to how panning out. LAG could offer an extension

- Parker Up to player, has offers from Us, AFC, and abroad

- Strikers...... God knows, Lenadro maybe, could be, in September/October. Eto'o LOL, but we did try and talk to him ages ago! Could end up with some dross or something legendary like Rossi, depending who gets their way internally. BUT NO MARQUE signing until the deadwood is gone. But the money is there, very much there.

- Wages, we pay market rates and more if the right thing is offered this season, lots of agents now know this. Also the papers quoting on £40,000 a week on Lukas wages are on dream boats. Hes on £60 odd and lots of bonuses. Hardly poor!

- Work already begun on a headline sponsor for next year and we want a 5+ year deal and maybe 'Naming rights' for a (And quote) 'A rebuilt lane or a new one somewhere'

- Defoe...........I wouldn't want him in an Arse shirt next year, but don't rule it out. Or an Everton one.

Non Spurs

- Cesc, going, going, gone - Posted this before, but now its getting official and AFC want a replacement lined up before agreeing to approx £35/40m

- Parker wanted to AFC

- Gerrard approached by some UAE guy to play the 2012/13 aboard out there - Mega money, seems to be offered to lots of others reaching their 30'd to mid 30's Terry, Lamps etc also

- Supposedly City want to tie up a 10+ year deal with Nike/Adidas/Umbro (New kit deal is up end of season) and other sponsors to get round UCL fair play rules coming in. Would mean they are legit.
