It's dead simple... Flog Humpy Berbatov for 30million, then go blow the lot on Alves.
This transfer thing is a doddle.

Well like i said before there was no point of signing him unless Chimbonda is going. Chimbonda for now is the better option but in the future Hutton will be better. However we now have Gunter for the future.

So :shake:to Hutton.

Just had a skim through everton, villa etc forums. They are taking the piss big time. Why did we put ourselves in this situation over an average player?. We are turning into west ham.

clubs get turned down all the time by players, thing is no one mentions who berbatov could've gone to before he came here. Or bale for that matter. Didn't Robbo turn down villa???

You do have to wonder why, yet again, we have conducted our business and made ourselves look pretty stupid in such a public way.

Expect Mr Chimbonda knocking on your door Friday morning

I suspect it's Rangers' doing. Showing the fans how loyal he is, fact is the fans seem to accept that bids like that will be accepted by their board, so all round good publicity for them

Just seems to be the latest in a fairly long line of things that get conducted in the press. Doesn't seem to happen to most other clubs.

That is credible. Routledge has rejected other moves and it looks a lot like first Jol and now Ramos have been instructed to freeze him out, so as to force him on his way. But the bugger is clinging on like a limpet. He is only going to leave on his terms.

Don't exactly blame him do you, we bought him then never played him!

Where were they when we bought Berbatov, Bent & Bale? have they got any players as good maybe one each come close. If you don't go for top players you don't get rejected but you also don't get top players so let them mock, we will have the last laugh.

Maybe we should just stop buying players and focus on youth development

You do wonder don't you. The transfer window is open and you can't tell me no other player has rejected a club, yet the only one they publicise is...........:bang:

Why couldn't we play Rocha last season, then?

Not that it's particularly relevant now but we couldn't play Rocha last year whilst Benfica were still in the competition.

If we had beaten Sevilla in the quarters we could have played Rocha in the semis as Benfica were also knocked out in the quarters.

Rangers fan here and I'll give an honest opinion. Tbh I'm a bit surprised we got offered so much for him. He has been sensational for us this season but before that he would have had to buy his own club shirt because we wouldn't give him one. Great going forward but not too smart defensive wise, caught out a few times. He's only been good, well fantastic for a few months so that's why I'm surprised we got offered so much. Thank god he hasn't left though and no surprise, he should only leave to a better club and not a mediocre mid table epl club like yourself. We now have him to fuck the fenians at the piggery next month:grin:
