Toby Alderweireld insists Tottenham's winless start to the season is not cause for concern, with the defender confident his team will come good.

I'm sure it will come good but if it were me, it'd be concerned by the lack of wins.

The width should come from the full backs.

I agree, but its not, and it hasn't under AVB or Poch who both wanted the width that way. Why is it not? I think with the signings of Son and N'Jie we are going to see a different approach

I think the fullbacks are frightened to get forward too much because we can't keep hold of the ball in the last third. When we inevitably cough up possession everybody rounds on the back 4 when we concede a goal. We don't press well enough to win the ball high enough up the pitch for them to push on IMO.

I don't know if its a fear or if they are bing simply told not too, I havn't seen Poch screaming on them to push forward when we are tippy tapping the ball round at the edge of the final third. I think we are too slow to react and too slow to get in behind.
Hopefully with Dier seemingling being given the DM role, the FBs will push on and with the added pace of N'Jie and Son we will start seeing more pace. As a whole are play and passign needs to be quicker.

Poch has said that he will be happy or sad after ten games.

Good enough for me.

As as football fan I am very happy to see more and more clubs buying and holding on to talented players and thus, giving the likes of Manchester City (I know they don't seem bothered so far), Arsenal and Chelsea more problems.
This would obviously create even more problems for the likes of Tottenham but imagine if we could go through a season with nobody really confident of winning a game against a team in the same division. Then I think the drama and spectacle would be great for all concerned. I'd like a situation where Spurs could finish top but so could Southhampton or anybody else for that matter.
