Hopefully he gets recalled with someone like Winks going the other way with Lennon set to join Everton

I'm not getting my hopes up, but hopefully we recall him.
I would be shocked, stunned if we let lennon go and don't recall Pritchard. I would ask questions of the club considering they have played a player who hasn't even been fit as we have no options there

We will have a game every 3 or 4 days soon and only having Chadli, Townsend and Lamela as our wide players would be foolish especially considering the academy has no one either. Eriksen can play there but he should be in the middle and same goes for Dembele

Completely agree. I wrote in the Lennon thread that if Lennon goes, with Oduwa out on loan, if we don't recall Pritchard, it would be boarder line negligent.

Hour n half left and I'm not optimistic. Like you said we've got ride of Lennon not only that but the 2 potential players in our academy who get step up in an emergency have gone out on loan. What are we doing

Still no confirmation form the offical site on Lennon or Alli either which is odd and gives me a very slight hope.

Watched the rest of the Brentford V Boro game tonight. Pritchard was the outstanding player. He buzzes around everywhere getting on the ball, started as the ACM, but was left right, deep. The first thing he does as soon as he receives the ball, even in tight spaces, is to turn and face forward, get his head up and look for what's on. He only hangs on to it when there are no good progressive options, but when he does he can dribble with excellent technique, but his head is constantly coming up to see what's on offer.

Brentford were the better side by a long way and were really unlucky to lose, Pritchard at the hub of a lot of what they do.
56 passes, 7 key passes.

I'm absolutely gutted we didn't recall him.

Mee too. He would have been perfect for the ACM or ALM roles, him, Eriksen and Lamela interchanging would have been a real handful for any team, and would have upped our creativity level IMO.

I wouldn't mind seeing him in the AMR role either tbh.

Same. Absolutely cannot reason as to why we didn't given our current situation. With Lennon and the option to recall gone, we are one injury to quality away from being royally fucked, and a mere two injuries away to the numbers from being in a very dire situation. I'm more pissed about this than the "failure to sign strikers" era of a few seasons ago, as quality strikers are so difficult to sign in January and in this case, the option was just so simple for a position of clear need. Now we've denied ourselves numbers, denied ourselves options when we aren't consistent as is, and denied a group of young technical players far more time to work and develop together.

I just cannot wrap my brain around any possible logic as to why we didn't take this option, especially if we had no plan to bring in another attacking mid option. I see no argument for whatsoever. Bitterly disappointed to say the very least.

Yes, and it's worsened by the fact we let Oduwa go out on loan. Truley baffeling.
