Some premier league teams interested taking him in January apparently. I'd prefer him to stay at brentford with Warburton. He is a spurs fan after all so we should do him a favour.

A few of my mates are Brentford season ticket holders. General consensus is they like him, but he's no where near prem standard yet. Hopefully he'll stay with Brentford and continue to develop rather than be recalled or sold/loaned to another premier league side and sit on the bench.

He might improve though with better players around him it might suit his game more playing for spurs ( this season proberly not).

Brentford were excellent, thoroughly dominated this game playing good tempo, progressive passing, pressing football and Pritchard was a valuable part of that, seemingly playing with license to roam across the front 3 AM positions and popping up all over the place. Played some good stuff, and was tenacious without the ball.

Loved the tenacity off the ball. He was constantly trying to press and cut off passing lanes in the middle of the pitch and a couple of times his pressing forced an errant pass.

Also, when that cross fell to him in the first half I was certain he was scoring. It was quite the block, though.

Goal! Brentford 2, Wolverhampton Wanderers 0. Stuart Dallas (Brentford) right footed shot from the left side of the box to the bottom left corner. Assisted by Alex Pritchard with a cross.

Just beat Wolves 4-0. Brentford are only a point off the top of the Championship.

Great to see him doing well and really helping Brentford be relevant this year for promotion.

Also, I about had a heart attack earlier when the club announced Joe Pritchard broke his leg. I was confused and thought it was Alex (it's horrible news regardless of who it is, however).

Brentford the team I used to go watch when Spurs were away and I didn't have tickets in my teens - amazing to see them flying high in the Championship. I'd love them to make the PL but I don't think it will happen this year

Glad Pritchard is doing a good job and gaining lots of experience, hopefully he will return to Spurs ready for the first team next season

Lovely assist, too. Outside of the foot pass to the guy at the far post for a tap in.

If Brentford do happen to get promoted, would the best decision be to keep Pritch with us next season or explore loaning him back another half-season/season to get a PL loan?

Probably a bit early to be speculating about Brentford getting promotion. Their squad is relatively small (they've been playing the last five games with a winger at right back) and a couple of injuries to key players could have a big impact on their form.

Didn't they get to the play offs last year?

Its a good team as seen by Uwe Rosslers flop at Wigan. It was the players that were the stars.

Ahhh. Hashtag soz.

I had my Orient hat on.

Then there is no way they are getting promoted.

Much obliged for the reminder sir.

They lost in the play-off final the season before last (that was the year they had a penalty in the last minute of the last game of the season to secure automatic promotion and hit the bar.) Last season they went up second behind Wolves.

I cant believe how well they are doing. Highly unlikely for them to go up, but stranger things have happened. If they di, they won't be able to play at Griffin Park as its no where near up to PL standards so they'll have to ground share, most likely with Fulham or QPR (I would guess). Their new stadium is only a couple of years away though.

I been hearing about their new stadium since I was a school kid 15 odd years ago

I won't be holding my breath

But I agree - I can't see them coming up this season, if they did a ground share at Loftus road would make the most sense

Quick and busy, but kept his head down a bit too long and missed the easier route to the teammates coming in the middle; and the assist seem a bit of winging it the last minute to me...good to see it lead to the goal nonetheless.
