Personally don't think he will.
Good player, no doubt about it, but I really don't see where he fits in our team under Poch, unless we do indeed offload Lamela

I disagree with you.
I reckon with the amount of potential games to play next season while Pochettinho had insisted Pritchard will be part of his squad. I can see him having an important role from the bench rotated in cup and European games as well epl games, his proven he's ready for the step up.

He's done his ankle ligaments....fuuuuuuck!!!
Really? I'm fucking gutted if it's true. Looked like he had amazing potential whenever I've seen him, he always stands out, even my Liverpool friend said that he looked like a real talent (sterling-esque).

Hope it doesn't fuck up his career.

Really disappointing for Pritch. He really looked like he was in his pomp for England. Yes, it's at U21 level and we mustn't expect Ronaldo when he does play, but he clearly has promise. Lucky we managed to hold onto him, in light of Liverpool's interest a couple of seasons ago.

I think he'll play a role for us and may fight with Townsend and Lamela for that RW berth. I'd like to see Lamela move more in field in fact, and perhaps Eriksen out to the left (but Nacer was immense).

Good dilemmas to have.

What is the usual timescale for ankle ligaments?

I'd say it depends on how serious it is.
If it's a strain/tweak then it's probably just a case of resting it for a month or so.
If it's a tear then we're looking at months out.

Thanks, fingers crossed it is the former not the latter

Mind you, a bit of googling suggests that even a strain could be 8-10 weeks before he's ready to train again.
