He's a must buy for the future. If we have to loan so be it but we must look to the future now in all positions. We are behind the other top four/six in our building for the future. We need to nurture as well as buying. Unfortunately more buying at the moment.

If that's true, that's mega expensive. Makes a similar fee for Gallagher - similar position, barely a few years older, prem proven, international caps - look better value

If we were quoted that early in the window I can fully understand why we stayed well clear. Undeniably looks like a great talent, but in a position where we possibly wouldn't even be able to guarantee him minutes next season he wouldn't be worth such a large chunk of our budget.

Well it did seem high but then i’m never sure these days when it comes to money and football as the fees and wages seem insane constantly.
