I think hes a traitor. If you look at it, this is the first oppurtunity he has had to leave for a bigger club and hes jumped at it.

Adding to this i recall an interview around a month ago saying he would never leave, and saying he wanted to stay for the rest of his career.

The kissing the badge, fake tears, means nothing now.

HW, have you ever sat in the front row of the Paxton lower? You're the biggest Keane basher I've ever come across and a old northern bloke used to bash Keane the whole game and couldn't bring himself to say anything good when he'd put one in. Is this man you?

NO your opinion is shit because it is WRONG and that of a child, it seems. Other than that it is YOUR opinion...with which WE disagree but that is democracy.
However Mr Keane may no be going anywhere...and that is no bad thing...as he is still a class act...Berby is most likely to RUN and we must be men and applaud what he has given us even if he is now deserting us when we need him most....Other fish in the sea comes to mind and we are YIDS..indestructible and PURE (as against that SCUMBAG WANKER at OT). Wow it feels great to vent my frustration at SAF.....COYS!

No I am fully supportive of all our players on match days. I am the one slagging him off in the Bricklayers after the game.

Keane has given us some good service, cant really fault him for wanting to move to a team that plays in the CL, and probably add 20K to his weekly wage.

If he does go we will get a very good price, that obviously the club feels he is worth, so I wont be that annoyed at him, unless he does a Barry-esque interview.

Leeds paid half his wages when he started at Spurs. He wouldnt have joined us with our wage ceiling at the time.

No if he goes to Liverpool it's because they are a far bigger club with much more history.

He'll certainly get a fond fairwell from me.

His first few years at the club were a very dark time at Spurs, during which he was the only ray of light.

He's had 6 very good seasons at the club, culminating in our cup win last year. Obviously I'm disappointed, but he at least deserves some credit for the footballing pleasure he's given us.

I've got no time for the bloke not because he wants to leave, at anyother time I would have said good luck to him because he has done very a good job for us.

The thing I have a problem with is the timing, he's basically kicked the club and the fans in the nuts. loosing both Robbie and Berbatov together will do massive damage to our chances next season.

As ive already stated i understand why keane wants to move on. He has played for us for 5-6 yeasr now, He has been our captain on and off for the last couple of years and he has scored tons of goals and help made us known again at least in the uefa cup, he wants to aim higher and it wasnt known that he would play in the champions league for spurs. AT liverpool he knows he will and possibly win it, who knows but people have to make career decisions

I really dont get why people are so rude and disgusted as it happens for loads of clubs. Thanks for all the great goals Keane good luck in the future.

By the way my new shirt has Keane 10 on the back i dont mind as he is a legend in my mind, just as sherringham was and ginola was.

I was about to post the same thing, players come and players go on thats football and Robbie is entitled to move on it is just a shame that he is looking to go now when it looks as though Berba is off too but to be fair it's not his fault Liverpool came in for him now.
I think we bought him for a good price and Leeds paid half his wages for a couple of years after we bought him so if we get a big fee for him then we have come out well on top especially when you think of the benefit we have had from him playing for us.

I am disappointed when a player signs a long contract for a pay rise then moves on before it is up, I believe in that case they should pay back the difference.

Perhaps the club should say ok we will sell one or the other but not both so Utd and Pool make your bids and we'll take the one we like best, that should concentrate their minds and maybe bump up the price.

You guys are unbelievable. Seriously.

You do realise we'll get a transfer fee this time, right?

Hahaha.

I neg repped you earlier, but this post is funny!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I still dont think he has done anything wrong. I don't even know if he has "jumped at the chance" or even tried to leave

Yeah, but we are trying to build something here, and they (Keane & Berbs) are letting the whole club down (and league in fact) by wanting to leave.
