no need to apologize, but an evaluation of what "ITK" means is in order. personally, I think the only ITK is Levy.

Apology not needed, you gave out what info you got as and when you could,
I'd also like to drop a word of warning to anyone thinking it's ok to now have a dig, the window may be shut but slagging off ITK's or people posting whatever info they have will result in losing access to the summer transfer window and or the site.
Not that Harry will finally decide on a target by then!
Oh and we do understand that we all are a tad irked at the moment so lets remember we're all fans of the same side and think before we type.

on a serious note, if the mods have cleared you and you were not on a wum then no apology is required. it is great being on a site and having first hand info, guys like you Valencia Yid,Ryantegan,rebrab add to the quality of this forum.

No need for an apology Adie. You and the other ITK's fed us info in good faith, but there could be all sorts of reasons why we didn't sign someone.
Personally I just feel gutted that the all felt that we were one top quality forward away from being a very good side that could have pushed on the CL and for the 4th place or higher in the league and it all seems a bit of an anti-climax!
I don't doubt we tried hard and that the targets that we really wanted aren't available until the end of the season.
Maybe we missed a trick in the August transfer window and should have bought a striker then. With CL you'd have thought that we'd have achnace at signing some of the big boys, but we seem to be on the cusp of greatness again, only to slip back.
Our biggest problem has been City and the money that they have been able to throw around! Getting into the CL hasn't been as good for us player wise as I would have hoped!

Adiepf your passion as a fan is as obvious as your excitability. I think you got caught up in it just as much as everyone else, and it was the nature of your posts, the certainity, that may have got a few peoples back up. I am glad you decided to post, and to keep posting in the face of the derision you were met with, it made this window just that extra bit fun.
I reckon for future reference, as you yourself said, keep it to people's movements and avoid the 'nailed on', or the '10000000%' assertions.
But cheers for making this window a hell of a ride (a ride to where? Well as it turns out nowhere, but still a good ride..)

Mate, seriously no need to feel like you should apologise at all.
The grown-ups on here understand how the whole ITK thing works and the fun that it can bring.
I appreciate all the little snippets that you managed to provide as it all helped to create a great window - that it had a shit ending is not down to you in any way, shap or form.
It's better to have and not need, than need and not have.
