Just saw it pop up on the BBC front page. Pathetic, he won the fucking double last season and finished 2nd this season, complete joke of a decision. Abramovich is trying to turn Chelsea into Real Madrid, sacking every manager who fails to win a trophy.
I just can't imagine who they'll get to replace him, and definitely can't think of anyone who could do a better job.
Remember what they did to Ranieri?
I remember him getting an ovation from united fans
way before the season was over for continuing to work
even though he knew he was getting fired.
Do you think they have someone else already lined up? Do you think he was sacked just for the results or something that happened behind the scenes?
Seems like a risky decision though. They have just spent £70M - will Roman want to spend a lot more money?! Their squad will be another year older. It's hard to see how they can improve on 2nd.
