It really comes down to consistency. As PT says, we need to try and have a regular manager for a few years. The only reason to sack harry would be if he didn't have a good record, but I'm pretty sure he's got the best record of any manager we've had for about 20 years or so.

The real issue is whether or not he wants to stay...and for how long. If he wants the England job, then get rid of him. If he only wants to manage at club level for one more season, get rid. Otherwise we should keep hold of him.

Redknapp was brought in as a firefighter, PT. He had bagloads of experience at the wrong end of the table.

Here comes Ancelotti. A born winner. And we would turn our noses up at him. Where's your ambition?
Where's my ambition? I've just watched Spurs for the first time in my life, at the age of 48, storm through the Champions League in true Spurs pedigree while having qualified to do so for the first time ever in fourth in similar fashion and then make a great attampt at doing so over again this season before running out of steam.

I'd say that qualifies our Manager another attempt at bringing on this squad he partly inherited to go on and achieve greater heights, with no caveats or guarantees that he will achieve Premiership, Champions League or FA Cup titles, because no Manager has that right.

Leave Redknapp out of this for a minute. Pretend he's just been sent to jail or taken over from Crapello. Would you turn your nose up at Ancelotti or would you prefer Owen Coyle?

Get rid of him. Is the correct answer. He would ditch us for Chelsea or England at the drop of a hat.

And bear in mind that we have won nothing under him and have shot ourselves in the foot this season.

The CL is a silly competition which is fucking football in the arse. It is full of teams who are only there to make up the numbers.

Bearing in mind the massive uncertainty of Harry's long term Spurs future, i'd be willing to bring Carlo in. Give him 5 years, without the threat of being put in an oil drum and set on fire hanging over his head, and let's see what he can do.

Well as you are now offering a hypothetical question taking out of the equation a major factor in arriving at the choise you offer, my vote would go to Ancelotti, knowing that if he came, it would be short term, which is not what our squad needs right now as it is not fit enough or strong enough in depth to win a major trophy.

When you put it like that, there is no way I'd turn down Ancelotti. He's one of the best managers in the business.

However at this moment in time we are talking about sacking Harry and replacing him.

To be honest if Harry was locked up or had quit there are a number of managers I'd be happy for us to get, and Ancelotti is just one of them.

I would not sack Harry to get Ancelotti but if Harry left or got sent down he would be in my top 2 with Van Gaal of non Jose Mourinho managers

Red is gone the second the European Champs are over. Any fuel knows that.

There is substance to JH's idea but it wont happen. Unless he gets caught for his dodgy dealings which any fuel knows he wont.

 Now I know you are on a wind up. I bet you turned over and watched the cooking channels when we were stuffing Inter and AC Milan!

I only want to be in it because of the money. I think its format and the impact it's had on the game is vile.

I thought all this ever before we qualified for it. But I knew that we needed the money.

It's a boring competition. The group stages are little but a formality.

The way Chelsea just disintegrated before the end of last year and only after Daddy buying them out of trouble did they turn it around. You are talking about double winners here. Does he still smoke 20 fags a day?

I am not on a wind-up. I was at the home game against Inter. Batspur will tell you. We were on the piss in the Coach and Horses afterwards.

Really? So Schalk are the 4th best team in the world then? It is geared towards the biggest spenders and the chosen few to make the most money.
