Isn't Ayew left footed, though? Given Pochettino's love for inverted wingers, I'd be very surprised if we didn't at least try to play him on the right.
Yeah, I thought that too, but looking at his youtube vids he seems really accurate shooting with the outside of his left foot, so he's still pretty lethal cutting inside. I'm not too fussed where he plays tbh, he just looks a very well rounded footballer and I think we should sign him.

We may be interested but I'd be a bit surprised if we can pull him considering Marseilles are most likely playing UCL ball next season, his family is in France and he adores Bielsa. I particularly do not buy that he would be interested in heading to Inter right now. I think the media are making more of it than there actually is, but would be happy to be wrong about him coming to us!
He's already said he'd like to join us.

Ironically that is the same French Source that in the middle of Jan said we were in "Advanced Talks" & "despite Tottenham’s best attempts, Ayew wouldn’t arrive until the end of the season".
Le 10 Sport is probably the worst source you can find in France. Or maybe the 2nd worst.

Unless I'm missing a quote, it's le10 saying he wants us
Ok, but I still dont see why he wouldnt want to join us even if Marseille got CL football. Unless you play for PSG or Monaco any player would want to move to big club in the Prem, better league better money..

We should get Jordan while we are at it too. The confusion of having both Ayew brothers would make me happy.

From my perspective I would agree but being born and having family in France it's possible he does not see the EPL the same way (not to mention with his brother also playing in Ligue 1). Who's to say his UCL salary wouldn't pay more than what we do without it? And thriving under a legendary manager who runs our system better than we do (for the time being)...I think there's a few reason as to why he may not. Again I hope that's not the case but I'll be surprised if he ends up in England after the season they're having.

If Hugo stays, that is surely a big push. Lloris controls that French squad. He is the reason Nasri has been pushed out at times.

I think it might come down to the simple fact he'll make more money with us.

If CL was that important he'd likely have already re-signed and you'd never hear about us or Inter. Obviously that's not the way it's gone.

He'll see money the same way though.

He does see it the same way, a lot of players in France do (sadly for the league). Look at Newcastle. Ayew already said he would love to play in the PL.

The ACoN's are frustrating, but this move really is a no-brainer. If we did drop interest, I can only assume it's because we've identified other targets and/or even feel good about our chances of getting another one. I doubt it's because of Pritchard, as he's not a defensive winger and Poch himself rued just a couple weeks ago about our lack of pace. I think his future is at CAM, and that we'll be looking for one or maybe even two (if we make a sale) wingers this summer.

Reportedly got a red card after the PSG-Marseille game was over for going back onto the pitch (he had been subbed off earlier) to curse at the referee...

He'd be sent off damn near every game that he makes the squad in the PL if he doesn't like poor reffing.

It's been reported as either and/or both, but the Ligue 1 website had it as Ayew and they're probably right.

ESPNFC's Gamecast also has it listed as Ayew, but multiple accounts of the game say both Ayew and Gignac were sent off for dissent.
