Given that we have Winks, I would much prefer we put our time and resources into a pacy wide forward, which everyone knows we badly need. We can't rely only on Son for that all bloody season.

Likes Erik Lamela, deal with it.

Looks like we buy this guy if we cant get Barkley - hence the reports we are close to a deal, we probably can deal at any point we just need to wait on Everton.

i thought that was just something you did in FIFA, what does it mean IRL?
When Harry Redknapp calls up the agent he gets faxed a list of players that has been listed and their respective price.

No?

I wouldnt mind this if we didn't have a player similar in Winks. I'd honestly rather just invest in Winks and allocate that money in a much more needed position.

Nobody seems to note every transfer to us has Poch's influence on the player. Absolutely love the man.

Is this a pointless loan deal?
Don't see how it's pointless at all. We are short of cover due to injuries and Onomah not being deemed ready yet. It rounds out the squad (with the exception of a pacey attacker) while allowing us to see how things shake out with Onomah, Lamela, and possibly Barkley.

If anything it should shake up a few of our players, some have got a bit 'comfortable' imo.

Exactly. By the time we are half way through our CL games we won't have had Lamela or Alli available, plus had/if we sign/ed Barkley, he wouldn't be available either.

I don't fancy an attack of Eriksen, Kane, Son and Sissoko/N'Koudou against Madrid or Dortmund, I'd also be concerned be slightly concerned against APOEL given we were horrid against Gent. Competition is healthy

Is this guy any good? I don't know anything about him.

Good enough for Barca to spunk £30m (£20m add ons) just 12 months ago. Looks like a Barkley type player and my guess is he'll challenge Dembele for the ball carrier role.

Clear we wanted a CM and, with Barkley injured, this guys was our back up.
