Torino are not a wealthy club and are not in Europe and finished 16th.
50m is a huge money for them. So, I dont see why they wont accept a loan+obligation if terms are satisfactory

It's a move that could relegate them. In the Kane scenario we are not a wealthy club compared to Real Madrid and aren't in the Champions League. Would you be happy if we accepted loan+obligation?

1. Has anyone found the actual Belotti article on Di Marzio's site or twitter? I'm at work so can't dig but didn't see it at a glance.

2. Remember that Di Marzio is himself a journalist and his site is a collection of journalists writing for him under "Staff" all with their own reliability. One of the reasons he's always been so hit or miss is he gets credit for all that work but he himself only reports on a subset of what gets attributed to him.

Found this: https://www.iltorosiamonoi.com/2020/09/15/belotti-il-tottenham-si-fa-avanti-con-una-nuova-offerta/

From Google Translate:
From the Sky Sport studies, Gianluca Di Marzio updated on the speech linked to the future of Andrea Belotti: “For days we have told you that Tottenham has made a first offer for Belotti. Torino had said no because it was a simple loan with the right of redemption, without guarantees. Now the situation changes because Mourinho has improved the offer and relaunched: on the table there is a loan with the right of redemption which becomes an obligation upon the occurrence of certain conditions ", his words. An obligation linked to the presence of Gallo, but Cairo does not hear us: "The president does not want to sell Belotti now and above all Torino would like a guaranteed amount, not a loan with potential redemption", explains Di Marzio.

We don't know what their situation is financially , especially with Covid. So, who knows, they might accept.

Reading that last paragraph doesn't sound like there is going to be much happening with this one... On to the next one! We go again!

I guess we will now move on to Vinicius. Benfica lost the CL qualification game. They have already bought 70m worth players. They have to balance books now. So surely, we could do a deal with them ? ?

If not, we will move to cheaper targets I guess in Weghorst or Dost...

From the bits and pieces I've seen of Belotti, I don't see anything that makes me think he'd be a good fit for us or value for money either. Hoping he's not on our radar.

https://www.football.london/tottenh...andrea-belotti-new-tottenham-striker-19026269 There is this loose article posted today that's really reaching (never heard of the writer - Tashan Deniran-Alleyne), but is from Football.London FWIW

I agree that he really is in the same mold of Kane from the very limited times I've seen him, but would be excited for him. I have no idea the state of Torino's financial status, etc. Who knows if the right money is thrown about, everyone has a price.

EDIT: added date and author

Torino have Zaza & Belotti. Surely, if they bring in King they will let go one of the 2. Hope its the later.
