The part about Fischer, Eriksen and Cornelius compared to each other, is also in the Eriksen thread IIRC. Anyway, rumour in Denmark is, that FC Copenhagen will only sell if they receive a bid north of about 7-8 million £, I don't see us (or anyone else for that matter) paying that amount for him as of now.

As i said in an earlier Daily ITK thread, he seems a levelheaded guy, and not one to push for a move, just for the sake of it (or the money, or whatever). I think it's most likely, he'll stay at FCK for at least one more season, to further his development.

I haven't read anywhere figures like that and tbf he is worth nowhere near that amount of money. Was a nobody 12 months ago, had a (major) breakthrough season and will probably be shipped for around 3.5.

There is 10 kroner to the £ approx

More close to 9 kroner (to days rate is £1 = Dkr 8,8). Doesn't sound like a huge difference ... but when you're dealing in millions it does make a huge difference..

Back in April it was said he was valued at around Danish kroner 5M (aprx £5,6m). With all the interested his club may have increased their asking price.

http://ekstrabladet.dk/sport/fodbold/dansk_fodbold/superligaen/fc_koebenhavn/article1938668.ece

Ekstra Bladet is comparable to the mail when it comes to sport. Their valuation is really nothing to go by, even though they quote an agent (not Cornelius agent, mind) on the price. The current exchange rate for danish crowns to pounds, is about 9 kr. to the pound.

The noises coming out of FC Copenhagen (FCK) currently is that he's more than happy to stay, and looking forward to playing in the CL next season. Consequently it's more or less official that FCK will only sell if they receive an offer that's "too good to refuse", mooted to be in the price range 80-100 million danish kroner.

My point bring if its 5m kroner it won't be in the millions in £s

Signing for Cardiff City. Let's hope we've not missed the boat on the next Michu!

It'll be interesting seeing him in the PL. As I've stated earlier in the thread, I don't think he's quite ready for the pace of the PL yet, however it'll probably help him getting a lot of game time as I'm sure he will at Cardiff, compared to if he was our 2nd or even 3rd striker.

Van Wolfswinkel to Norwich, Cornelius to Cardiff, Lovren to SOuthampton.

Decent business by the lower placed teams.

They're basically picking up on the signings that we don't want to risk. We'll be looking at these players and think "He's good....but is he really at our level yet". Whereas for the lower clubs they'll be less worried about the gamble as they're already playing at that level or thereabouts, the only gamble is whether they'll fit into the team.

Signings like Benteke and Michu were exactly this, very good players who needed the move to weaker clubs to show what they can do. At higher level clubs they may not have been able to get as much game time. It's a good move for these players too as they get a stepping stone if they do really well. Not great on the smaller club, but those clubs will be aware of that when they buy the player.

I'm more into Aleksandar Mitrovic if I'm honest.

I'll be really interested to see how Cornelius develops. Best case scenario is he's awesome but Cardiff is relegated and we get him after a year in the EPL.

The thing about why lower clubs are able to buy players is they New Tv money that have changed the Leauge totaly. A club like Fulham Swansea can now fight with clubs like Roma, Lazio and such. Just look we are able to buy in one of the best cental players in brazil whould someone even belive that was possible for 10years ago ?? The EPL are running by the other leauge just wait and see :) But that dosent mean the top teams will go and win CL, It means that the lower teams will come closer to the top teams and the EPL will get harder.
