A journalist has said that he would be a good signing for us, not sure if he's heard anything.

"If PSG need to sell, would Di Maria be available for £30-35m? Would he fancy coming back to England?" Bakowski said on The Guardian's Football Weekly podcast.

"Two Argentinians, him and Pochettino. I think he's the sort of player who would fit that system. Not particularly flashy, works hard when he can be bothered.

"It would seem a logical move. Maybe Pochettino would think he could motivate him.

Would be absolutely perfect for us apart from the astronomical wages.

And age.

And work ethic.

Anybody who works in the sports section of the express is not a journalist.

What was it he said about Spurs???

"It hurts when you're always doing your best for your club and then you hear that you might be going to Tottenham," he told Marca.

No thanks.

Him, Eriksen and Alli behind Kane would be just about the sexist front four we've ever had.

They do need to sell but almost certainly still beyond us currently.

You're reading that the wrong way. He was hurt at being linked away from Real Madrid.

wages would have to be an issue, let alone hes work rate and attitude .
He played CM for Real for a while and was excellent iirc so it is remotely possible that he could fit but he'd be such a gamble for the money.

Plus he looks like the bastard child of kyle walker and Martin Keown.

So, no.

He's like a better looking version of Hector Herrera except nowhere near as good a footballer.
