He is a good player, the only problem is the likes of Di Maria and others we are linked to will always have the pressure of replacing Bale. Bale is a match winner. Only a handful of players can do what he does time and again. Also will players like him want to come to us if we sell Bale?

This is why a doubt a swap deal. RM want to secure Bale, offering players in exchange provides more variables and possibilities for it to fall through, so can't see it happening.

Even if it's Coentrao, Morata and Lamela, this would be a much better move for the club. LB that we sorely need? Check. Striker of the future that can be brought along behind Soldado? Check. Bale ready-made replacement? Check.

He's a very good player but he wouldn't be my first choice, then again it would depend on if Bale was replaced by another wide forward or an inverted winger (Di Maria).
