Before we start our interview, at his flat in central London, my producer asks him whether he likes my wristwatch. His response: a quick glance at the watch in question, a shrug of the shoulders and clear "No".

As much as I love the game of football I increasingly loathe those who play it (at all levels). But with every interview I find it impossible to tar him with the same brush as other modern-day players. You just can't help but like they guy.

AND I thought he was tremendous on Tuesday. :clap:

Hmmm. I love Benni and have defended his talents when others have been slating him - but I thought he was our worst player on Tuesday. His distribution was fucking dire.
