Can i just add that i have spoken to Dave again and he will soon have artists impressions and other more 'easy on the eye' images.

He also mentioned the possibility of a home fan standing only section which would be very exciting. However, is this allowed anymore?

I'm not sure of the rules with regard to standing stands in the prem.

At the moment we wouldn't be able to get a standing section, but there is talks of it coming back into the Premiership so we could gett it by the time this is built.

It's funny SS57, that looks almost exactly like the plan I came up with a few months, I was basing it on the suggestion that we had or were to buy up the block that the petrol station is situated on. I also came up with plans for a gradual rebuild. If I can find them I'll post them here.

I did this one based on the size of Old Trafford (75k) and based on the assumption that we'd rotate the pitch 90 degrees.

The no ground-share plan (based on 90 deg rotation):
1:Build the new west stand behind current west stand
2: In summer demolish old west stand and shift pitch toward west
3: Commence build of west ends of new north/south stands

4: Rotate pitch 90 degrees before start of season
5: Start work on lower south stand
6: In summer demolish SE corner and south stand. Finish south stand.

7: Demolish east stand and rebuild
8: Fill in corners

Looks like someone drew the plans with one of those Spirograph toys.

We still have to buy up the sheet metal works and the JW Hall before we can proceed. Assuming planning permssion is forthcoming, of course.

Top work fella.

Just out of interest when you say "soon", do you have any idea as to how soon you'll be able to furnish us with the eye candy?

:duh: now you're just being silly! I think thats just too good to be true but id love it more than anything else to be proved wrong!

Standing areas are not allowed BUT more and more MP's, FA staff, supporters (thats you lot get involved!!), journos etc are calling for a return to standing in the model of the german 'safe standing' areas. If Spurs were to ask the FA if they could build a standing section and then if the FA refused Spurs could get a team to rubbish all the reasons why it shouldn't be allowed with ease. this might, just might push the FA/Prem or whoever to take their fingers out of their bums and provide what 93% of supporters want...
