Say that to Levy, not me.Stop it.
If we're spending £30/40m there's plenty of excellent forwards we can get. What about Timo Werner for example? Could be gettable with a substantial offer.

Difference of opinion here Clive.....
Was told we have moved on as the stakes were too high.
Sorry, wasn't trying to imply he was. Obviously Martial is a special circumstanceNo chance does Martial move for 30-40 mil. None whatsoever.
If they're not selling Naby Keita for £75m, there's 0 chance they'll sell werner for that. Martial is probably more realistic tbh.
Daniel Levy:
"We have to find the right balance but I can honestly say it is not impacting us on transfer activity because we are not yet in a place where we have found a player that we want to buy who we cannot afford to buy"
So am I right in thinking we have now found said player?
You are right Trix, so no conflict. I share your pessimism, but told Daniel has not shut the door.Difference of opinion here Clive.....

Depends I suppose on whether it's only cash they want?????
If we are seriously thinking of paying 60m for a player why not look elsewhere. Maureen would rather string us along till the last and pull the plug than strengthen us. I don't believe we are serious about this. We will have the old goalposts got moved with 1 hour to go and no other options flannel. You can't tell me there isn't a better option out there for that kind of fee.
