Deschamps has said he isn't going to allow players to complete transfers that are in his international squad.

I think Martial is competing with Rashford and Ibra will be competing with Lukaku.

Don't think this move has much effect on Martial at all.

Don't forget that Martial initially played up top, and Ibra "took" his #9 with Jose's blessing

I don't think this move is as impossible as some think.
Martial can and has played centrally in his time at United, so with Ibra coming in that surely puts an end to that possibility. United have then been strongly linked to Perisic and Lemar. If they were to bring in either of them then you've got Mata, Rashford, Mkhitaryan, Lindgard, Perisic/Lemar all vying for three spots and as we all know Mourinho prefers those who run into the ground a bit more that would push Martial to the back of the queue.

Not saying it's gunna happen just I can see how this might fit into the ITK "long shot"

They'd be better off loaning us him. He'd help us take points off all their rivals but wouldn't strengthen us when we play Utd. Can't we agree a loan with agreement to sign next summer like other clubs seem to do. I'm sure Utd and Mourinho are arrogant enough to not see us as a threat and even less so in a year if they win the league.

Their start, plus bolstering their squad with Ibra and possibly another left side player to come does make me think Jose would actually contemplate allowing him to come to us.

Maybe if we'd battered Chelsea not so much (still trying to find a silver lining there!)

They would demand Rose or Dier, knowing them probably both. No chance of this happening, hope we have a suitable backup if he really is our main target.

Otherwise Jose will just be stringing us along only for us to have no alternative.

People talking of Dier or Rose or both for Martial can forget it, no way should we let our main players leave. Walker was enough if we go with what some fans are saying it'll damage our work up to now having such a fire sales.

Gosh stop with this stupidity of wanting our fabric players to leave, I really don't understand what some of our fans are thinking most just want a shiny new player when we already have a young hungry squad improving rapidly why mess that up!!...yes Rose messed up with his outburst however we need to get over it, get him back physically in the right state of mind playing for Spurs. Dier is a must he is invaluable and has that sort of mentality we need around.

I wouldn't say no to Martial but when fully fit Son ain't to bad is he.
