just cant see utd being bullied into selling him when hes got 2 yrs left on the contract.
They will sell, especially when the player makes it known he wants out. They will auction to the highest bidder. Only a few clubs would compete. And I don’t think he wants to go back to France. Therefore, ruling PSG out. That leaves Spain and Italy. Italy don’t have the Euros to deal. Choice then boils down to the Spanish top 3, and us! Now, price Yanited will want will be imho, over 50m. As they still have outstanding obligations to Monaco. One to watch ?

Will add that nothing surprises me. Even a new contract don’t surprise me. I personally don’t fancy our chances. Too much politics their end.

Sounds like it will simply go down to the wire.

Anthony Martial’s agent: “He wants to leave Manchester United.”

http://www.getfootballnewsfrance.co...ls-agent-he-wants-to-leave-manchester-united/

Are there advanced contacts with foreign clubs?

Anthony has a choice, I cannot say anything else on this subject at the moment but you can imagine that the moment that a player like Anthony comes onto the market, lots of clubs are interested. The only thing that I can say is that lots of managers like him and several clubs want to offer their projects to Anthony.

What leagues interest Anthony?

Today, that is not an important question. Anthony simply wants to play, enjoy football again. The feeling with the manager will be essential.

Offer Bale a couple of million to tell United he prefers a move to Spurs, then go to United and say "we'll give you a free run at Bale if you sell us Martial." Sorted.

I rate him highly but at the same time I wonder if he's better than the competing options we have? Son, Lamela, and Lucas all basically competing for the last spot in the front 4 already.

The only player I feel we really need is a top quality creative midfielder but we're not seeing many links to that type of player.

only a soft spot for son is preventing me from admitting he's comfortably better (and younger) than all 3.

If he comes in he would score a lot more goals than lamela would. If starting regularly he could register similar stats to Son however I am keen to see how Lucas fairs.

His agent's interview was interesting, he said they have discussed a new contract for eight months and "if a club doesn't make a decision in eight months they do not want to make you an important player in their squad", and then went on, "Then came the January mercato(window). I'm not going to comment on the consequences of this mercato. Everyone will have their opinion, I think he must resume his career. The time has come."

I reckon that's just about as emphatic as it gets.

Yeah they’re my biggest worry and they have an excellent record of replacing big name strikers when they lose them

Based on what though? Statistically he's never done as well as Son and Lucas in their best seasons.
