Now begins the hunt for The Times article..
I haven't seen it but theres a strong chance its a 'what could happen in last week' article with pointless percentages. You know, we've all seen them. They aren't news, they're a summary.
Could be wrong though.

It's from yet another Gary Jacobs transfer rumor roundup piece. Also says Zaha is unlikely to leave after we balked at his valuation, Dembele and Toby are likely to leave, but nobody is sharing those bits
Nailed it.

More skullduggery from Hotspur Related then.

He is definitely leaving this summer no doubt about it, just who to? Most obvious would be to Chelsea with William going the opposite way, United fans would be livid, would be even more livid if he came to us. Would love this signing.

Talksport were discussing this yesterday and mentioned who out of us, Chelsea and PSG would he be off too and basically said that it would be PSG (if anyone), based on the opinion that Jose's history of selling KDB and Salah he wouldn't want another one in Martial coming back to bite him on the arse, fair point I thought.

Tbh ive never thought we were signing him so not too fussed and never got myself too excited about it.

Both those players were sold abroad and still came back to bite Mou. This is actually poor reasoning by these folks as his general performance matters as well not just his potential performance vs Manu.

I know this isn't gonna happen but I feel like with the current situations of both Zaha and Martial, it could be now or never to just bite the bullet and get both while the opportunity arises itself. Yes it will cost a massive outlay (especially with the even more urgent need for a top CM), but we really would be set for years up top and would save ourselves more summers of wasted money on numerous "N'yones" from the French league.

Zaha for 70, Martial in a swap with Toby (as much as I want to keep him, it's looking increasingly unlikely), and a top CM for 70 seeing around the 150 spend mark. Tie up a deal for Dr Ligt for next summer similar to the Keita deal and we won't look too bad surely?

And before the optimistic ratings fly in, I'll just clarify that usually I would not be a massive advocate of Levy throwing money around. I am a big fan of Daniel and think he has done a wonderful job putting our club back to where it belongs. This opinion is purely based on the fact that two supremely talented attackers are up for grabs which just doesn't happen too often, and will save us a fortune over future windows.

How the fuck can United justify fining him? He's legally entitled to time off.

2 weeks paternity leave.

Even if he puts in a transfer request, I can see them letting him come to us anyway.

There is a massive resistance shown across the top 6 clubs to sell players to rival clubs. I remember not so long ago a wave of transfers between the top clubs. arsenal were once the feeder club for Man City, United and Arsenal would trade regualrly with Chelsea. This season there is a massive shift.. Utd want to sell, but only rival clubs interested.

Liverpool have done their £177m all from overseas. City overseas player, Chelsea overseas player and United overseas players. Tottenham... aah... Aucun, Niguna, Keiner, Nessuna and No One!!

Not if he’s not an employee and I’m pretty sure all footballers are contractors, not employees.

Edit - don’t listen to me, listen to Johnny.

This isn't true. The overwhelming majority of footballers are employees on fixed-term contracts. (I'm an employment lawyer.)

He wants to leave Man Utd because of a lack of play time so they think his most likely destination is to join a club that has Neymar playing in his position.

Yeah, what clubs were those players sold to again? Were they abroad? Unlike the one Lukaku joined, so he wasn't embarrassed by paying £75m to buy him.
