Previously getting the points but maybe lacking the performance, things came together for Antonio Conte's Tottenham side on Saturday afternoon after they secured a 2-1 victory over Fulham. Apart from the opening day win over Southampton, Spurs have often been second best on the pitch and that has left fans extremely frustrated given the players they have at their disposal.

To save the click they crave, we played well, Conte was pleased. Sessegnon, Lenglet and Richarlison mentioned as having done very well, expectation of Bissouma coming in, we did well, they did well everyone is happy. Happy happy happy. In fairness a slightly better than usual piece though.

The use of the word 'devestating' to hook people was a nice touch.

And they didn’t even need to blame Jenas.

I dont think they really talk of partnerships.
But for me Sessegnon and son have developed a really good understanding.
Bentancur and Hojbjerg do their own thing, but Hojbjerg now has the confidence to go further forward knowing Bentancur is holding the fort behind him.

Richarlison partnered with everyone - his defensive work and all round game is so good, he is wasted just prowling about upfront as a traditional no 9, esp as he is not a clinical finisher on this showing. We have a finisher already.

Harsh to say he isn't a clinical finisher. He certainly can finish and is a match winning player imo.
