I'm more so just intrigued as to why. Did we deem it too expensive? Are we looking elsewhere? I can't imagine him not coming now would deter us completely from trying to make any sort of deal.

I think I'm only any bit bothered because it felt like he was coming here, but it will be increasingly frustrating if he rips it up at Brentford.

Only thing i will say is that if we're not going to push the boat out for the already established, it's a shame to miss out on a deal like this. The only positive is that I think we already have enough wingers who's output are arguably questionable, but like said, will we push to sign someone who's already at that next level.

Weren't we told he was a big target for Ange? If that's the case then it is poor if we missed out on a €30m target.

Hope WLBs news that he can't share yet is something very positive
Based on what we've seen so far, if he was a big target for Ange we probably would have signed him. I don't see the concern.

If he does agree to join them over us, karma would be that he is to come in the summer and Brentford end up getting relegated snd he plays in the championship!

but seriously, i think franks pull to these scandinavian lads can’t be underestimated.

The only target we know Ange really really wants is Gallagher as far as I’m aware. Not that he doesn’t want Nusa, he obviously does especially if he wants him this window after talking to him, but I don’t think he was ever a major Ange pick.

Also guys lets not have a full blown meltdown yet. Dragusin was dead cert to join bayern at one point and he chose us.

I kinda respect the move in the same way that I did for Dragon coming here over Bayern. He’s betting on himself playing every week and being the main man over there. Shame as there’s clear succession for Son but might be too long a wait for him

Maybe that’s half of it, but given how we’ve been recently it doesn’t stack up.
Last few days of the window so we may well have been alerted to a bigger target we previously thought unavailable. Feels like it’s reaching a little tho as we seemed to have spent a good while on this deal before the news stopped.

Would have thought we’ll all hear about it soon!

Well that would be a bit of a blow considering we looked so close to getting him a week ago. At least that's what we were led to believe.

Mad I'd he's one of the hottest talents in Europe but ends up at Brentford.

Hats off to them for getting it done.
