Thanks WLB, very disappointing indeed.
I think it's probably a far better move for Nusa's development.
€30m on an 18 year old is a huge risk for a club like Brentford......makes me wonder if they've sold Toney?
Beaten on what, though? Wages? Signing bonus?Exactly this
It appears we’ve just been beaten by Brentford here.
Nothing more than that, it happens
Agreed. If we're Roweing back on Nusa.I'd assume we'd go fro Norwich lad now
Haha no we didn’t clubs line fed to pok . Brentford have agreed a fee and the player has accepted to go there it’s not done yet it’s upto Tottenham now match it and it’s ours however I don’t think this will be the case now . seems that bidding war they wanted they got. Formally the price in line was 22m and we would wait until July for him to come ange then wanted him now and the price went up instantly which put back the deal slightly which is normal and the player was open to that but preference was waiting . Brugge then turned the screw last week opening up the deal inviting other clubs and Brentford have bitten it. Nusa I would imagine sees himself playing week in week out under frank which then regardless gets him a major move in 2/3 years. Transfers are never ever certain regardless of how advanced they are.
Hopefully we go for Bakayoko in the summer. They tried to sign Bakayoko from PSV last summer so I think they’ve always been after a young exciting winger.
Nowadays PL clubs like Brentford can comfortably spend that amount.
Maybe that’s half of it, but given how we’ve been recently it doesn’t stack up.
Have to factor in immediate impact and everything that goes with that risk is reward and risk is failure . This club do run like an insurance company most of the timeSeems crazy to miss out on such a talent for a small amount in the grand scheme.
Well that's that then. I can only hope we have another player lined up.Haha no we didn’t clubs line fed to pok . Yeah - maybe with Brentford evidently.Which suggests conversations.

I’m sorry right now this ain’t positive reminds me of fati last year haha that scarred me if i get anymore news I will share. Thanks WLB, very disappointing indeed.
Because €30m must be quite a substantial chunk of Brentford's transfer funding.......I wouldn't imagine Brentford could afford to take a lot of the risks that other teams can (having said that, I haven't looked at their accounts lately, so perhaps they can and I'm underestimating their financial position). Why? If he’s good enough he will play, like Pape and Udogie. He also could be our Son replacement for years.
I've no idea what that means. Well ok, I guess it means no hope but have never heard that before.hope an Bob hope
Probably a good bet but missing out on Nusa is incredibly disappointing as I think he is a big talent.I'd assume we'd go fro Norwich lad now
Potentially banking on selling Toney.Because €30m must be quite a substantial chunk of Brentford's transfer funding.......I wouldn't imagine Brentford could afford to take a lot of the risks that other teams can (having said that, I haven't looked at their accounts lately, so perhaps they can and I'm underestimating their financial position).
