I got banned about 6 years ago for some inoffensive comment (actually made on SC, laughably), which was fine. I'd already stopped posting on your pathetic site after a brief mention of pizza prompted one of your gestapo to call me out for being racist towards Italians.

You truly are the most pathetic website on the web, and even after clicking 'unsubscribe' following my first email from you after 6 years you continue to berate me with your ambitious attempts at condescending behaviour.

This is the first email I've had from them in 5/6 years. Fair enough if it was a friendly heads up automated reply, but it's the arrogance that pisses me off from this irrelevant sideshow.

Yea, TFC was just pure chaos, no rules, whilst COYS is the strictest forum on earth unless you're attacking players or Levy and then it's a free-for-all.

For all its 'play the ball not the man' rules, the amount of shit that was shoveled on the players or Levy was astounding. You also couldn't call out obvious knee-jerking, because that would be playing the man.

Same here. I thought I was kicked out years ago until I recvd that email.

I wonder whether they will send another email 6 years down the road 'inviting' us back again, when they realize that they only have the mods left over there.

I didn't receive this email though. Must have been permanently deleted long ago. An innocuous post I made was taken the wrong way and my account blocked, not giving me the chance to edit it or delete it, and then a series of emails with one of their almighty mods left me with the option of begging him, personally, for forgiveness or being banned. I chose ban and asked them to remove me from their forum

I got the same kind of email, I'm pretty sure I joined there before I joined up here. I only made about 3 posts. They seem to be leaving an opening for me to return, they must be really desperate.

Don't get me wrong; in the months I was on there I chatted with some great posters. Plenty of positives about the actual users on there. It's just the weirdly uptight moderation that makes it either unpleasant or prohibited. I think they thought of themselves as a bit of an exclusive club, which is pretty stupid for a free account on the internet.

Hadn't even thought of the arrogant wankers in years before getting their snotty email last night.
