I haven't seen anything about bale's injury - he looked in a lot of pain.

Agreed, I was really annoyed at his lack of movement in the Arsenal game, Luka was begging him to run in behind Sagna on a few occasions and he just stood there.

I think it would be beneficial if he has a rest for a week or two. He looks like he is lacking confidence. When on the ball he still tries things but just doesnt seem up for the fight/battle with the opposing full-back IMO.

Im not sure what it is, maybe he is still worrying about injuries or it could simply be just a loss of form. We could really do with him firing on all cylinders though pretty damn quick.

I agree with most of you regarding Bale. He was having a stinker and I think there was fuck all wrong with him. Harry dropped a big hint about it after the game. The reaction on the bench had shades of the home game against Milan about it (when Bale was insisting he couldn't play.) And we told the chaps at Sky that our two halftime substitutions were tactical.

:clap: spot on. the guy was cleared hit very hard and looked in a lot of pain. if he was in great form would people be saying he is a wuss or would they be saying that teams are targetting him to kick him? he may not be on great form at the moment but injuries happen.

I'd be a lot more worried if he started pulling out of challenges. If he were doing that then you could legitimately criticise him and his mentality, but putting his body on the line like that is a good thing.
